this one got me
don't watch scary movies, though

i got LYNCHED. You already know the movie

youtube.com/watch?v=8a8-Lc1vObg

This fucking movie

Too bad the Ameriburger remake shit on it

It's in the fucking trailer you retards

GOT A LIGHT?

classic
greatest buildup to a jumpscare I've ever seen

>dual of the fates starts playing

I agree, I saw both and the American one is definitely worse.

I should really start watching more Spanish movies, the ones I've seen so far (Abre los ojos, rec, pan's labyrinth) have all been bretty gud so far. Any suggestions to a Flemish guy trying to get into good Spanish movies?

...

...

I enjoyed El espinazo del diablo, even though it wasn't like I expected at all. Main character is a child but his acting is decent enough to not ruin the movie

I'm so glad I got to see this before Sup Forums could spoil it.

Love this one youtube.com/watch?v=hLDkbzIO8KA

This

This. The build-up is really intense.

How can a jump scare "ironically" catch you off guard?

>He watches trailer 2 and 3 from horror movies

the buildup music makes you aware that it's coming, but you choose to ignore it and ancipate the jump, and it gets you anyway, though you knew it was coming

Everyone always posts the scene of the ayylmao on video tape in Signs. But I thought the leg in the corn field was a much better jump scare from the same movie.

Also every google image was garbage and I'm not putting effort into looking for a better one.

You know it's gonna happen but you still fall for it.

Saw this one as a kid and it fucked me up for awhile. Still to this day is the scariest jump scare I've experienced.

and?

>The Conversation hotel balcony murder scene
>Fail-Safe phone line screech scene
>Inland Empire run to an extreme close-up scene
>Interstellar Matt Damon blown up mid sentence scene
>The ending of Enemy
>"You're not perfect" scene in Courage (pic related)

The one jumpscare in Lake Mungo got me because you don't expect jumpscares in a faux-documentary.

The ending of Enemy was so good.

what movie is this

Exorcist 3

This is the first jumpscare that ever got me. I used to hide behind the sofa during this scene.

...

GAV jumbscare

this one BOO!

still the best horror kino out there
youtube.com/watch?v=TWepGb8T2jk

This one got me pretty good

user!! you made me pee a little!

Not even a horror movie

...

>>The Conversation hotel balcony murder scene
this really scared the shit out of me, amazing scene. Hackman sells it so well

my mom used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid and I would always cower when this part came on.

The whole scene in the toy store still fucks me up. How unsettling.

This one got me.

That dwarf in the red hood
RIP Sutherland
Anyone have a webm of it?

it was just an indian guy in darth maul face paint, it wasn't scary

The context of where it happens in the film itself is primarily scary, not the image alone.

The scene with the bag and the telephone freaked me the fuck out in Audition. Fantastic horror movie, there were a few other good jumpscares in there as well.

When you're watching a porno and the focus is on the girl's face who is enjoying it before the focus jumps to the dude's face.

unfortunately this is the highlight of this movie.

same with the shadow on the roof and the fingers under the door.

>mines when the dog barks

>I'm so glad I got to see this before Sup Forums could spoil it.
Well this youtuber fucking spoiled it.

What an idiot

Used to watch this on VHS at my grandmas and every time this scene came on I would close my eyes

>close my eyes

No one can close their eyes, their eyelides, however...

based The More You Know poster

Is it just me or does Patrick Wilson have the most kissable lips in Hollywood?

not a jump but that hard zoom tho

This

Not a jumpscare but fuck it, too spooky to not post
youtube.com/watch?v=5qrp3P7wWds

> you're standing right over there and you're scared
chills

youtube.com/watch?v=c38HJR-9vhU

Both these

Also everyone I see jumps in REC when the firefighter falls from the 2-3rd floor near the start.

and its at daytime, which makes it so much more impactful

>furries are the most frightening thing possible
That film was ahead of its time

The head popping out of the boat in Jaws. Freaked me the fuck out as a kid and I still don't like watching it.

El dia de la bestia and Crimen ferpecto both by alex de la iglesia
also if you're into horror: Who can kill a child
los lobos de arga is a pretty good horror comedy, it has both humour and gore

>tfw you are a scared shitless user and you feel the relief of watching a horror movie because the leaks told you where the jumpscares are

I dont watch trailers

I had diarrhea everywhere when i first watched this youtube.com/watch?v=4RGtC2S22Z0

the furry is featured even more in the book and I think only in a flashback/vision. He liked be degraded by some rich guy he was in love with

>always watch signs as a kid on shitty quality VHS
>think nothing of that roof scene, think its just an empty roof
>years later rewatch it on higher quality
>fucking terrifies me seeing whats actually there

Never had that with any other film
