The Eurozone will never experience noticeable economic growth again. Simply for demographic reasons.
Italian banks look bad because the Italian economy is looking bad. They had very conservative bread-and-butter lending practices and are now sitting on a pile of debt from non-performing companies. Whether bail-in or bailout, one needs to address the underlying problem - which isn't done.
Helicopter money is considered, so is more debt restructuring.
