It's a star wars film. You don't have to think it's good (neither do I, I put it near 1 and 2), but it's a star wars film in all of the ways that 7-9 cannot and will not be.

I agree it's shit but I don't see how parroting the name game disproves it "feeling" like a star wars movie to someone else.

How can people put the phantom menace below the revenge of the sith? I have no problems admitting that rots has a far more interesting premise/source material but as an actual movie its pretty garbage. It looks and feels like a drawn out videogame with walking/talking segments in the middle. Meanwhile TPM had a killer opening sequence, a great ending, the podrace, was actually filmed on real film and just has a far more timeless/beautiful look. Liam Neeson/ Ewan McGregor is also a far better duo than Ewan/Hayden because of how bad the direction Hayden got was. He was perfectly cast as Anakin but the script/direction couldnt reflect that adequately

TPM is the best prequel movie, bar none. RotS looks, and is, a bloated mess that screams it was rushed to get finished by Lucas.

I enjoyed both of them honestly and agree with what makes TPM good but I edge ROTS more personally, Palpatine is GOAT, the acting is more stale in TPM, clone troopers and order 66 were great, and the opening space battle. I most people on here who do that would agree.
