Tbh this season has been a bit of a drag
The pacing is embarrassing and the jokes don't land like they used to (when they even do jokes) among other things. I've been able to watch 7 seasons without feeling much or any negative vibes from anything the show put out but Season 8's just barley above drop level sometimes. Since there's so few episodes to go I'm hoping they put their best effort from here on out.
I can't say my hype hasn't dropped for the series finale though, even though I was expecting something more everyone-centered instead of it being a Pops story with everyone else taking a secondary-main role.
JG was also asked during drawing (17:40) if Mordecai would ever pick a girl on the show. JG said it was spoiler territory but to keep watching, and that a lot of good episodes were coming. He also said the No Train No Gain episode with the Dragonforce song was this Thursday, so he's up to date on what has and hasn't aired.
That said he could just be referring to it being spoilers if he picks someone before the show ends or not. I'm betting on it being open ended, it seems the only way to make the fans happy at this point.

Asking someone to name a Dragonforce song is like asking someone to name a Europe song: It's always going to be Through the Fire and Flames and it's always going to be Final Countdown. They've got other songs, but even the people who listen to them will just go with the ones people know.
For real though, Final Countdown would fit this final season pretty well. 6.5 seasons worth of montages and 80's references but no Eye of the Tiger either.

The beat of this song is just really fast, how would a montage work? If the scene kept changing as fast as the music did with beats they'd have to come up with like 50 different training bits if it really is the whole song.

Probably Family Guy, like every other song In existence. They have the money to do almost anything they want but use it in the dumbest ways possible.
If this is for real then I trust it'll be used well. This show has a knack for licensed music montages and they're usually good.

Literally the only acceptable parts of this game are the first level or two, before shit gets unbelievably retarded, and the other are the in-game graphics with the movie bar effects, because you can actually see them clearly because they're not 5% of the screen like when you're playing. The other thing would be that the style of the game looks like the comic books, but that off model shit eventually looks even worse with the pixellation vibrating.
Is it worth it? Is it? The older 2010 games had more charisma and charm to them than this load. Maybe it would be better as an app on something with a larger screen than their webpage puts it in.
