Horror Movies

Hey, anons- mind posting good horror movies I can watch? I want the scariest shit there is or something out of the ordinary.

Heres a few i enjoyed, not claiming that theyre all works of art, but i love them nonetheless

Jeepers creepers 1 and 2
Vhs 1 and 2
Abc's of death 1 and 2
The omen
The exorcist
Poltergeist (1982)
the shining
Children of the corn (the original)
The den
Texas chainsaw massacre (1974)
Psycho
The thing (1982)
Dawn of the dead
Night of the living dead
Evil dead (1981)
The Blair Witch project
Silence of the lambs
The cabin in the woods
Saw
Deathgasm (horror/comedy/metal movie)
Carrie (1976)
House of a thousand corpses
Cannibal holocaust

your list ok. Not enough supernatural horror.

Supernatural horror bores me, so thats why there isnt much on my list, theres only so many movies i can watch where the whole family cries because i vase is knocked over at night by itself.

Shutter

Under the Shadow

It's an Iranian horror movie

Any good horror from the past few years I can torrent?

If you've ever experienced some supernatural horror in your own life, I think you'd might have a different outlook on that kind of stuff.

I rented a house that was haunted. I still have nightmares about the stuff I experienced in that house for 4 months.

So I guess when I see these supernatural horror movies, it personally strikes a cord.

>something out of the ordinary
I posted these like a month ago, not sure if this is all of them
>Savageland
8/10, solid mobie. Mockumentary about a town that had its entire populace murdered overnight. Everyone dies except an illegal who does odd jobs for cash. Being the only survivor and having a reputation for being an outsider, everyone assumes he killed everyone. The catch is, he does photography for a hobby, and he had his camera on him the entire time and recorded the events that unfolded that night. That's all I'll say.
If you're tired of jumpscares, this movie relies completely on static images to spook you, and it does a fucking fantastic job. Make sure to give this one a watch.

Here you user, enjoy

>Les Documents Interedits
Another mockumentary type thing, a collection of short found footage type films. Most aren't horror-centric, but one or two do a great job of being fucking spooky. The rest are legitimately interesting pieces focused on some kind of sci fi or supernatural type topic.
>Borderland/Final Prayer
A Vatican team is dispatched to investigate a supposed miracle in a rural church in the UK. Shit goes sour when it turns out that it's not something in the church causing shit to go down, but something else entirely.
>WNUF Halloween Special
A little horror comedy thing that came out a while back. Legitimately funny and worth a watch.

I recommend Noroi. Some. Of the best Japanese horror.

Also "You're next" is pretty cool.

The French movies Martyrs and RAW are really unique and brutal on a psychological level.

Best remake coming through

>nobody's posted Little Evil yet

Good mobie

I have had supernatural experience during a christian summercamp when i was 9 and no, i wasnt dreaming, cause this happened to 4 other guys a little older than me too

>half past midnight
>decide to go scare the girls who sleep in a different building
>as we enter to the dark building this eerie feeling comes across us
>we start going to upstairs where the girls slept through a dark stairway
>one of the guys says
>"you guys hear that"
>"hear what"
>"like someones ringing a bell"
>"cut the shit out, we aint hearing a thing"
>suddenly we start to hear it too from behind us
>this very tiny bell ringing
>the sound seemes to come closer and closer
>we start to walk faster and faster up the stairs but we had to be quiet not to wake the supervisors
>we stumble to a hallway, theres a door the girls dormitory, supervisors room and a toilet
>the ringing sounds alot louder now
>one of us bolts in panic to the supervisors room
>rest of us follow
>were crammed in the supervisors room where 3 counselors are sleeping
>the ringing now comes behind the door and slowly drifts away
>we bolt from the supervisors room to the toilet
>the ringing begins again and drifts around the toiler room
>"if someones ringing the bell then why the fuck we aint hearing footsteps"
>"well i know judo so i can tackle whoever it is"
>"we can all take it down, theres 5 of us!"
>we gather our courage and open the door
>we bolt as fast as we can out of the building

After returning to our dormitory we go through wtf happened and the next day we ask the girl did they hear anything, its still a mystery of what the hell that bell was

>user scared by a cat

Had spoopy stuff happen to me, doesnt make the movies any more interesting or unique

Literally this lmao

ex drummer

pure horror!

I was there for a week and we never saw a cat and besides nobody in country gives cats collars, especially with bells, is this an american thing?

Stop watching horror and especially slasher movie.

This is bait right

...

you were a stupid 9 yo kid that got scared of a bell
>supernatural experience
lmao

House 1977

I'm going to try and recommend horror films beyond the usual Texas Chainsaw, Exorcist, Psycho, etc.

>The Innocents
>Repulsion
>Funny Games
>The Sentinel
>Martyrs

Keep in mind that fear is totally subjective. It's hard to recommend anything when someone doesn't specify what they're afraid of.

What are some horror movies where someone gets trapped in a small town that they can't get out of, like when they go out one way they come back in from the other end, kind of like going in circles

LETS GET PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR IN THIS BITCH

WATCH PERFECT BLUE

>there are people this stupid that browse Sup Forums

wowwee

No martyrs
>pleb

"That was haunted"

You weren't haunted you were lonely

The list is missing a lot of things. Why point out that film in particular? Is Martyrs the only half decent horror film you have ever seen? What kind of response is this? All you're doing is exposing the fact that you yourself don't watch many horror movies which makes you the pleb buddy. Sheesh.

Not going to lie, I fucking laughed hard.

>rent house that you're told is haunted
>suddenly start noting every time you hear the house make a noise or when you misplace your keys
So spooky.

>Martyrs
>Half decent

Stop watching crappy US Remakes user

Ive actually never seen martyrs no any good horror movies.
I just like calling anons plebs for tiny jon existant reasons to get them triggered

wow you have seen a foreign language film

Anyone remember that movie where a group of people were invited to a creepy ass place and they all had camera glasses so it was partly filmed in first person and there was a saferoom with paintings detailing the monsters that were in the building, and in one scene a women gets pulled up a chimney and only bones drop out afterwards.

The ending scene was a bunch of fat executives sitting at a table watching the film of their deaths from the camera glasses and laughing?

plz help guys

i am afraid of what happens after we die,
insurmountable debt
and loud noises.

IT Followers is a film about STI's/STD's. And literally nobody noticed it. RLM are hacks.

For some reason I really enjoyed The Exorcist III.

"I have dreams... of a rose... and of falling down a long flight of stairs..."

Uhhhhhhh yeah no, that's a fucking retarded reading of the movie. STDs don't go away when you fuck someone else lol
Good on you for having a go though

This is a reoccurring place in my dreams

>says he experienced some crazy shit
>doesn't say what
uh huh ok

That's what people who claim to have lived in haunted houses always do, because all they've really experienced is "I heard footsteps" or "I woke up in the middle of the night and felt a PRESENCE!". It's laughable how cookie-cutter haunted house stories are.

Not him but you're pretty stupid to take that in a 100% literal way.

very nice list , to add some modern horror Kino
Interview with the Vampire
Scream
Evil Dead 2013
Don't Breathe
Sinister
The Strangers
Black Swan
1408
The Witch
A Ghost Story (post modern horror)
Enemy
Goodnight Mommy

I didn't take it literally at all, it's a film reading. Obviously it's meant to be a metaphor or an analogy. It's just a fucking terrible one, in that the premise of the film does not match at all with his reading. If you can't see that, you're the stupid one lol

Darude - Sandstorm

>modern horror

lmao well hand picked, most are incredibly cheap but we still got great directors like raimi, fede, wan, and others

There are none. Horror is a tag you give a thriller movie if it's shit.

It was shit, that's why.

What an incredibly dense misunderstanding of both genres. Good bait or just that stupid?

its not that STD will go away when you give it someone else you retard
its the feeling of anger and defeat that you get when someone gives you an STD and so you give it to someone else so that you wouldn't be the one that lost so to speak

Yes, if you just completely ignore the premise of the movie, that makes perfect sense. Impeccable reading, I'm sorry I doubted you.

Torrent for Savageland pls?

please respond

Let me think of this. Not like going in circles kind of thing, but I would suggest Phantoms(1998).

First 3 Silent Hill games. I know, they are not movies but I think this may be the thing you are looking for. Don't even bother with the Silent Hill movie.

Don't give a fuck about IT or the remake.

did you even read the script by Nick, it's out. it's an Ok concept but typical teen flick it appears

Next you're going to say the Halloween remakes were fine.
