The best TV show of all time

...

It's the best TV show all time.

season 3 fucking when

Its not

Never

The creator went on record and spilled the beans years ago

NO!

It is
That's why there's only 2 season.

Halt and Catch Fire could have been if they had stopped after the first season though

The Sopranos
The Shield
True Detective season one
The Wire
Mad Men

>mad men
I think you forgot Game of Thrones, master pleb

>show gets cancelled
>because it makes money
>but not ENOUGH money

Game of Thrones is porn written by an obese pervert that a bunch of normies latched onto.

1. Twin Peaks (incl. The Return)
2. The Young Pope
3. Carnivale

Always been intrigued but I am afraid of HBO giving me blue balls again ala Deadwood

Should I still give it a whirl?

>Anything but the sopranos as #1
If you haven't seen it I don't know what the fuck you're doing. If you have seen it and can't appreciate it fully, you're full brainlet pleb. There's no debating this.

>another crime show

How original.

First season is fantastic, the second one starts strong, becomes schlock, becomes shit, is great again and the final 5 minutes fuck everything up.

DON'T STOP
FUCK OFF

Since we're exchanging (you). The sopranos was the original and all modern tv exists because of it.

Being a seinfeld fan I can't help but think of this guy

I physically cringed at the plebeic retardness of your statement.

...

i'm ready to have a battle of autism. Name a single thing carnivale does better outside of some benign aesthetic set pieces.

This. If you think le meth man or le Baltimore is dysfunctional are in the same league as Goatpranos, it's time to neck your'reself.

Deadwood is pretty fucking good though.

>writing
>keeping the interest
>characters
>storylines
>cinematography
>atmosphere

>Tfw we'll never see more of Brother Justin's hate speeches
>Tfw we'll never see Ben and co travel through Europe collecting talismans/scrolls
>Tfw we'll never see Lodz in the flesh again
>Tfw we'll never hear Samson yell "SHAKE SOME DUST" again
>Tfw we'll Ben heal anyone again
>Tfw we'll

This show was pure genius yet ironic to think modern HBO praises GOT over it or Deadwood.

I like twin peaks as well but please don't ever put it above those other titles

You actually believe this don't you. You're basically saying 'the sopranos is so boring'. On the one hand I have to browse a board with someone like you, the positive is I'll never have such a fucking stupid opinion as this.

The Sopranos literally went over your head if you believe any of this. fuckin fanook

Yeah Carnivle was one of my top shows, really does suck it didn't get an ending. When Leftovers first started I had the same bad feeling that it wouldn't get a completion.

I still have no idea how something like Carnivale ever got greenlit.

>Tfw we'll never see Ben trying to kill Brother Justin in one of their standoffs by luring him to Babylon and having the ghosts trap him but Brother Justin breaks free and just releases the ghosts into the afterlife instead
That would've been a kino season final in one of the later seasons

Deadwood got a good finale compared to Carnivale. A bit underwhelming, but latter ends just as shit gets real.

samefag Sopranosfags, shit show shit fans fuck off back to r/eddit.

That sounds pretty great, and then there was all that incesty shit going on between Brother Justin and his sister, and I wonder if he would have started banging his daughter later on or not.

*blocks your path*

According to Knauf there was supposed to be a child introduced in S3 and we weren't supposed to know whether it was Ben or Justin's. You know I wish this was a novel series instead of a TV series that Knauf pitched, he wanted it to become a comic series but HBO won't let him because they are stingy twats regarding the rights to Carnivale. I think a novel series would've been fantastic since there's something literary about Carnivale considering it feels like a Steinbeck or Faulkner novel.

Oh that's right, she was pregnant at the end of season 2 wasn't she? Forgot about that. I really should go through the episodes again sometime. I'm generally not a big comic fan, but since the tv series already established the characters I suppose it would have been better than nothing. A novel would be great for sure.

If I ever make it big, I'll promise you I'll talk to the guy and HBO executives just to make season 3-6 happen.

agreed user. it's a crime we never got season 3 but in a way it just adds more mysticism to the show. we'll never see anything as good as carnivale again tbqh

Criminally underrated.

I really want Nick Stahl to get clean and start working again. There's something about the sound of his voice that's pure magic.

that doesnt look like clone high
