I just realized that millennials today are what the boomers where 45 years ago. Entitled,lazy,vapid and insolent jerks. No respect for art or culture,rather a passion for censoring and destroying these noble pursuits of human expression. Their minds occupied with trivialities,sewing the seeds of social chaos and unrest. They carry a unhealthy obsession with Marxism and certain middle eastern ideologies. They expect to be taken care of,given a free ride through college and the rest of their lives. They want to exist in an endless self indulgent orgy of playtime and heavy drug use. Now imagine the baby boomers but a thousand times worse. A thousand times more selfish,lazy,and cruel. Whats sad is it will be burned out overworked tired GenX people like me that will be carrying these brats around like fat sultans on a chaise. So yeah i am biter and i am angry because its basically the Baby boomers replayed all over again for me to suffer now into old age.

But Boomers made some timeless music, some of which has never been topped in terms of quality and there isn't even a single millennial who has made a lasting contribution to culture worldwide.
You have to define millenials before making such a statement. Some people define them as anyone born before 2000, some think wrongfully that it refers to people born after 2000, and some believe it ends somewhere in the first half of the 90's (personally, I think the generation - whatever you want to call it - extending from about 1990 to about 1994, is very different from its neighbours - people before 1990 act more similarly to their parents, while people after 1994 act like a definite completley different generation: they're downright retarded, have lived with the internet their whole lives, with tablets an important part of their lives, seem to have suffered through bad instructors in school (i.e. there seems to have been a surge of leftist indoctrination facilities earlier in the child's development process for these generations), and were more easily influenced by leftist rhetoric).
Eitherway, I also think there are 2 groups which match your criteria: one is an older generation which is heading toward retirement. They have started the trend you mention and are brainwashing the second, much younger generation, to continue in their tracks. I believe the intermediate generation (which most people refer to millenials) is mostly unaffected by this, and I believe it is that generation that e.g. supports trump, is more likely to be on Sup Forums, etc.

There is a small hope that as the world collapses us Millenials will wake up and change the world, my big worry is that the amount of propaganda we've been fed will cause us to blame the wrong factors and descend into full blown Marxism.
I think it's pretty clear though that you need a lot of wealth created before you can start all of these socialist programs as the boomers did, in a world of collapsing economies we'll hopefully be forced to go towards a free market economically.
