Witchblade

Great comic, but over 180 issues without a single nipple.

Why do you need nipple, you've got 90% of the rest of her body visible in every issue. And she looks hottest in her street clothes anyway.

Bomb Queen. A comic series heavy in fanservice, but no fully exposed nipples. Story is okay.

It was sexy, but it wasn't really about sex. I don't think many western comics do this, at least not to the same scale the ecchi comics have their niche in japan.

Japan had some

fuck that
what the fuck happened to Switch?
i know the artist fucked his back but said he was getting back on track but that was almost a year ago

because they're conservatives

How is the comic?
I only saw the anime which was great.

If you want to see nipples, just read French sci-fi comics.

>Great comic, but over 180 issues full of boring slice-of-life shit, almost no long battles using her powers, and a fucking bishounen constantly upstaging her
Seriously, I had high hopes for this comic, but the covers look more intriguing than what's actually inside

What parts of this franchise are worth it?

Try Empowered by Adam Warren. It has the right amounts of sexy cheesecake and (surprisingly) good plot.

>Story is okay.
Surely you jest

Western comics suck at drawing nipples.

why didnt they do a compendium 3? Was looking to get the first two but looks like they arent going to finish the series in an easily collected book

Zenescope ever show nips? Only thing I know of that does that is the company that does webwitch and stuff, which looks pretty bad.

It's kind of strange when you have books that sell over sexuality but lose out on sexual content compared to Image and vertigo titles etc that parade it around like an HBO show.

Decent story. The women get naked a lot, but the comic isn't very sexual. The nudity is handled very casually.

If the nipples were drawn any better you'll never find the comics in any stores.

Meanwhile it's totally okay to buy Netflix/HBO shows on DVD in Wal-Mart.

Does it have lesbians?

>Empowered by Adam Warren

There's no nudity. Even when breasts or crotches are shown, there's no details. No nipples. No Aerola. No vagina.

Net even though about french sci-fi comics. What are some titles?

Yes, but the nudity is so rare.

it's so strange to that comicbook artists are still forced to censor nudity.

Actually, yes. Later on.

Why are you people so obsessed about nipples?

>How is the comic?
At first its just another sexy dark action story and was decent.
When Ron Marz came on they turned it into a X-Files-ish Supernatural detective drama which was seriously fucking great.

I really enjoyed the Seeley run. That was the first (and so far only) thing I've read by him.

why not?

They're fun to caress, rub, pinch, kiss, lick and nibble.

But you can't do that to a 2D nipple

Because it's immersion breaking to have a nude scene and the nipples are conveniently covered with butterflies/floating puddles/water/soap. It makes the art look bad . The censorship looks way too forced. If the comics are for adults then treat the audience like an adult. Nipples don't always have to be a sexual thing.

>you've got 90% of the rest of her body visible
Except the part you really want to see?
How about you can eat 90% of world's cuisine except the ones you actually find delicious?

>Nipples don't always have to be a sexual thing.
B-but... what if my penis always thinks they're a sexual thing?

You don't like the ampleness of her breasts, the curvature of her thighs, the spankability of her ass? Only the nipple? Talk about a one-track mind

...

>Because it's immersion breaking to have a nude scene and the nipples are conveniently covered with butterflies/floating puddles/water/soap. It makes the art look bad
No it doesn't. It's just a tease, it's silly but that's what makes it fun

If you want realism, why are you even reading a cheesecake comic

You look at her breasts and see something covered. I look at her breasts and see something added.

That's why I bought a 3d Printer.

Is Sejic's reboot still happening? First few issues were pretty good, with Jackie Estacado as a teenager.

For some reason she spends most of the comics in her casual clothes doing normal life stuff or detective work, instead of fucking shit up with her witchblade

Try anything by Philippe Druillet

But not the main girl, right?

The only publishers that allow nudity are big porn companies and not every artist wants to be associated with those kind of companies.

It's either censored nipples or have your work buried in porn. Or make your own comic with no limitations, but have it sell for nothing.

This is complete idiocy.

Top Cow produced The Darkness, which, while printed concurrently by Image, had tiddy in it.

Kill yourself A.S.A.P.

I don't get why they had to reboot the series, just because they wanted to try a story with kid characters and (obviously) no cheesecake. Why couldn't that be a spin-off?

MURKA, gotta love it

In France/Belgium/Italy, there are lots of comics with tiddy that aren't porn, just normal adult comics.

Because the only more or less famous character(Jackie) got his fucking head torn off.

Her best friend alleges her Kinsey rating is a function of her blood alcohol level. Said friend is strongly hinted (or was it obvious?) to want to get into Emp's pants so it might be wishful thinking on her part.

And speaking of lesbians, how blatantly was Pezzini fucking Lara Croft in the crossovers? Asking for research.

>Story is okay

it over-arches with this plot where there's 12(ish?) number of powerful artifacts or entities related to each other in the Image comics universe, and if they all got reunited it would be literally God or something. The Witchblade is kind of cool when they flashback to lady pirates or revolutionary war women having it. It wants to fuck the Darkness I think.

Darkness has a more cohesive plot and powerset IMO, but Jackie's not for everybody.

>image
I meant Top Cow. Image, Top Cow, Valiant, all kind of smear together in my mind.

I feel like the Witchblade is a female-friendly Carnage-style symbiote with less bloodthirst. It's a trouble magnet and that's the appeal, it attracts nonsense like Buffy.

>not going full patrician with really well drawn nipples with a shota making his own harem of bitches

just kidding, the story sucks, but the girls are nice.

Well, then why not reboot Witchblade proper, with adult characters and cheesecake and everything, and keep the kid comic as a spin-off?

I expected it to be a comic about a sexy female Carnage snikting everyone with her cool spikes while flashing her half-naked body.

Instead I got a detective doing detective work in street clothes, maybe donning the 'blade once a couple issues, and some random tits in bikini or undies here and there for a couple panels.

I was disapoint.

Death Vigil didn't do too well, so that set him back. He finished up Chapter 5 of Sunstone recently. And... his mom died. Being Sejic is suffering...

Be thankful they didn't get Kate Leth to redesign her instead

Still, the creator's tit and nipple fixation makes for a good reading experience. At least when there isn't skeevy Jap pedo shit involved.
