2017

>2017
>still on the first stage of kino consumption

Can you fuck off you fucking fag. It's cunts like you who are the reason the servers are always being flooded. You cunt. It's not even an updated version. Kys you piece of shit. I bet you're a fucking spic aren't you? Yeah just fuck off you worthless piece of shit

What servers?

>Hulu is not available abroad
I want it so bad

Hulu is shit you fag and you can just download it all

Private trackers are still 100x better than Kodi or any of that trash.

>I'm proud to be a seedcuck

Stop fucking telling people about kodi, let it stay at its current level of notoriety or more of it will be shut down

I got kodi last night and it's difficult to find the latest releases in hd? What am I doing wrong? I rather just use plex right now and stream my own downloads.

Actually kys you fucking retard. Don't post about kodi you Cunt. It's cunts like you who are gonna get it fucking shutdown

>using Kodi

pleb. you can't even talk down to anybody.

I can. I'm talking down to you, sweetie.

lol I don't give a shit what kodifags think.

might as well shut down all their addons.

private trackers are an MPAA scam, you basically are forced to pay to pad your ratio to steal ratio from other users so you can actually download shit

Can't join huh?

>No filmstruck

Trash.

>implying netflix isn't shit tier
"Hey bro have you seen this new show on netflix? Omg dude it's soooo awesome! Fuck watching TV, iz all about dat netflix baby!"

>hurr you should be using private internet and pirating everything
Up yours. Private servers are for poorfags and conspiracy theorists.

am i being trolled? everyone and their mom knows about kodi. kodi boxes are some of the best selling items on ebay.

You can't make fun of people's language if you talk meme shit like ">implying netflix isn't shit tier".

>Netflix pro
>Alluc
>Putlockers
SolarMovie is GOAT though

fmovies is better though.

I have the same exact problem, I honestly think high quality pirate streams just aren't really available and most people who use it just don't care enough about the quality to complain. It's the main reason I can't use it for very long before switching to a different method.

>2017
>saying kino

You need to ad Plex to the final stage.

Delete this.

I've actually gone through all these stages in this exact order starting from year 10

Streamfags, aka the people who watch everything @ 2mbps bitrate
lmao pathetic

3 and 4 should be swapped around.

Drink a gallon of bleach, you fucking nerd.

usenet + sonarr + couchpotato + plex > anything else

>forced to pay to pad your ratio
da fuq? you ever been on a private tracker? btn is ratioless, and ptp is easy as fuck

>usenet
is this nigga serious

Why would i pirate movies, when movies aren't even worth watching these days.

yes, i enjoy getting everything at the fastest my connection can handle without exposing my personal details to the MPAA or needing to share with a bunch of ratio nazis

I've been running Kodi as a front end for plex for the last six months and I'm getting pretty tired of it. The ui is really easy to break if you press buttons on your remote too fast and it seems like there's always some kind of issue that I need to fix every few weeks.

I think I'm going to build a dedicated pc just for running / transcoding plex and try using a roku or apple tv in my living room instead of a pc. The thing I will miss about kodi is having one centralized menu to choose from movies / tv, music library, or steam launcher.

>I think I'm going to build a dedicated pc just for running / transcoding plex
This is what I did, never looking back. It is a rough start up cost. Use the pc only for downloading/seeding and a spankin plex setup.

I can see the appeal if you have a ridiculously fast connection but the vast majority of people download at their max speed with torrents.

why are dumbshits on this board buttblasted into oblivion everytime something even remotely close to a liberal opinion shows on their screen?

>kodi as a front end for plex

Why not just use plex?

What hardware are you using? And what skin?

>why not just use Kodi.

ftfy

I mostly use fmovies instead of gomovies because they usually have higher resolution and more older movie but I still use gomovies for series

Use fucking Quasar you fucking FAGGOT ASS piece of SHIT FUCK

looks complicated

It's literally NOT oh my GOD

You install Quasar, you install a provider, and then you go into movies and you type into the search the movie you want to watch and pick one of the torrents it gives you

JESUS

hmm... sounds illegal

>DC++
lol that brings me back

>Kodi
confirmed for shit infographic

Kys please

why dont you fags just download your movies from a public tracker and watch them on MPC-HC with the k-lite codec pack

>No Plex
This shit is fucking fantastic

It's as illegal as streaming

love

So it's just a library?

Imagine being so insecure in your intelligence that you consider any other option superior to simply typing in what movie you want into a streaming site like solarmovie, and watching it in HD instantly.

Buying one of these aspie boxes and talking about UI's and skins, absolutely crying here.

It really is great.

It's a library and a player. It also finds subtitles for you. I have the core software installed on my PC and play stuff on my tv through the Plex Roku app. All for free. There are some channels and stuff too, but they're not always that great. You can add Chaturbate as a channel though, so there's that. With the paid subscription you can stream your library from fucking anywhere.

>not using deluge
LMAO'ing at your life

Plex brainlet here , so is your whole library downloaded on your PC and then just use Plex to play it on your Roku?

Yes, basically it organizes and allows you to stream from anywhere with a pretty setup. I pay the $5 a month so I get some extra features, like being able to sync my library to different pcs.
Just download torrent, autoload to plex, watch on tv.
There are like 20 or so people using my plex setup. All of my tv shows autodownload with Sonarr, so it requires very little maintenance.

>typing
>with your actual fingers

Barbaric

I tell my phone I want to watch the next episode of America's Next Top Model and between Yatse and Kodi it just happens

>not using qbittorrent
LMFAO'ing at your life

The phone app is great too if you "buy" it.
Went on road trip across the US with some friends, and thanks to plex, I was able watch movies and tv shows the while trip. Granted you have unlimited data.

>installing a bitcoin miner
LMAO
nah but seriously deluge is the best if you aren't an idiot

My setup is probably less complex than this guy:
I download stuff (mostly direct downloads from alluc/openload or mega or similar) and I archive all the stuff I want to keep on external HDD. I put movies and TV shows I want to watch in a specific folder and Plex finds them. It finds covers and subtitles for almost all of them. You need to stick to a specific naming convention for Plex to find the correct metadata easily, but there are forums and sub-read-its specifically for Plex so its pretty easy to get up and running.

I don't auto-download any movies or shows, and I don't stream outside my house. Plex can also be configured so that I can still watch stuff on my TV even if my internet connection is down, which is damn convenient. As far as I can tell, watching stuff on my Roku through Plex doesn't count against my god damn nazi data cap that Cox imposes on me either.

I used deluge a few years back but found qbittorrent worked better for me.

And you fucks say every client is a miner.

Is there an easy way to browse movies and stuff while looking for something to watch? Part of the reason I like Kodi is that I can go to Covenant or Exodus and browse through different categories if I don't know what to watch

My plex set up is like this
I have a fuck ton of externals and each of them have the same video folders.
>movies
>t.v. shows
>anime
>cartoon
For each library.
Then I just put what ever I download to a corresponding folder (for tv shows, anime and cartoons I use a program that auto renames the files to match their episode name to help organize it better)
And update library when done. Simple as shit.

I'm not sure what you mean.
I have tons of stuff I haven't watched and new episodes of TV shows to watch every week. I don't browse random streaming shit to decide. That's the point. I'm not streaming from the internet. What you're describing (if I understand correctly) puts you more or less back at tier 2 of OP's chart.

There's literally nothing Plex does that Kodi can't do with addons. There's a lot Kodi can do with addons that Plex can't do.

I wasnt gonna check out any of that shit but now because of your comment I will and if it's any good I will share it with other anons

You misunderstand. Plex is for watching movies that you get elsewhere, it doesn't provide a way to get movies.

I have two Movies folders, one with "regular" movies and one for the collection of vintage 70s and 80s porn that my wife and I like to watch.
They are named "Movies" (primary folder) and "MoviesX" (doesn't get scraped by Plex).
Obviously I don't want my son browsing those, so I keep them in a separate folder and rename it to the primary movie folder when it's sexy-time for the wife and I. Is there an easier way to do this without the paid subscription?

ya, Plex setup is similar to netflix, but not shit. You can browse by genre or actor or director. I find it comfy as shit compared to any other way. Kodi is alright, but for ease of use on the go or on friends tvs plex is a world of easier.

But Plex does literally everything I want it to without one single add-on.

That's fine, if you're a limited user then by all means use Plex, I won't judge you for it.

you can set up 2 movie folder in plex
>movies
>sexy movies
and create user accounts. yours has access to both, kid cant access your account because passwords n shit.

From my knowledge, no
I have the same problem with my little brother.
I have a ton of shit he shouldnt watch, but can't put parental control, so I have to hope he doesn't run across into truly fucked up

like this

>utorrent
Is this 2011?

"limited user"
In what way? Meaning I don't do much with Plex, or are you taking a shot at me somehow?

I thought I couldn't have multiple user profiles without a subscription?

;)

Oh shit, ya I have that...

I heard so much about it over the last few years, how you could customize "everything," etc. I wanted to give it a try. Also having a unified menu interface for all types of media with one remote seemed attractive.

The pc is just something cheap I built to see if I liked having one in the living room, an amd 5350 processor so not even a gpu with a flirc usb receiver for the universal remote. Audio ran through a reciever with a standard 5.1 system. I used the titan skin until so many things went wrong it was just easier to reinstall kodi than troubleshoot each individual issue, I havent switched from the default since then. I just have the bare minimum addons installed right now (plex + a subtitle finder).

you can
on Kodi

I just download any film I want from rutracker, doing this for the last 10 years lol. I am from Russia tho.

Titan can be pretty resource-heavy, and honestly so is the new stock GUI (Estuary). See if you can install Arctic Zephyr, it's prettier and it just runs a lot more smoothly.

>leaf
>can't get filmstruck

I will give that a try, thanks man.

Why do you guys need to dub over everything in Russian? It's almost as retarded as us burgers needing to remake everything because we can't comprehend a story taking place outside the USA.

Because people don't know foreign languages, and well that was always like this, since Soviet times for sure.

>enter thread
>see plex shills
>believe them
>put plex for music
i shouldn't have done that

>Muh sekrit club

>Kodi and Exodus better than Torrents and Mega
I have Kodi and I still use torrents more. It's for normies that don't know how to use the internet.

Kodi has a plex add on

Utorrent with auto download script setup for yts.ag is the non pleb way

>Using Plex for music
Spotify is really good, if you pay for it

Also if you use Kodi install the Kore app to your phone to have the best remote on earth

You know you can torrent in Kodi, right

Not one single person said Plex was good for music, fuck off.
