Is season 2 gonna be any good?
I liked the 1 but I'm worried all them same motives are gonna tire.
Is season 2 gonna be any good?
It's the same shit, but now they have Will, he can dimension hop and some big fuck is attacking the town.
Season 1 was kino. Season 2 will be all fan service.
Expect it to not have anything compelling.
Season 2 is unnecessary now that IT did it better.
>justice for muh barb
It's going to be fucking terrible
It's extremely popular among Redditors so it will surely have some quircky dialouge for them. I might skip it
first season sucked
come on now. What exactly?
Yeah, this is my problem. And you know the worst I can imagine, it being longer than 2 seasons and set in the same town with the same characters.
>tfw it won't be an anthology series
1 was good, but I wish Eleven doesn't solve everything
I feel you. Could've been so great if they did it like AHS except the sucking part of later seasons.
Thanks, reddit
bbc's
Name ONE good seasonal anthology series. True Detective went to shit. Fargo went to shit. American Horror Story was always shit, but got progressively more shit. The format never works but you retards keep begging for more of them.
*didn't
I hope she doesn't solve everything in S2
I've never seen AHS but I think they came up with a solid concept.
I guess an anthology version of Stranger Things would be too much like Black Mirror, but it would have been interesting to see other experiences in the world they're building in ST.
Someone's suddenly angry
It's not going to be anywhere as good as the first season. It will be watchable, enjoyable even, but it will have too much fan service and winks to the audience and repeated themes and motifs that it will in turn almost damage the original.
See? You immediately realized it was a bad idea when you couldn't even name one.
Don't listen to AHS first two seasons are legit good. Third is too campy for some people, but I liked it. Freak Show was solid too, after that it went downhill tho.
It's gonna be fine, they have a good actor in store
season 2 will probably be extremely similar but if they raise the stakes it could be better.
I've said it in a few stranger things threads already but they need to kill a kid. IT has proved that violence against children in a nostalgic 80's setting is easy to get away with so one of them needs to go. It cant be Mike because he's cute and the most popular kid, it cant be will because he already went missing, it cant be lucas even though nobody likes him because he's black, so that leaves Dustin. Dustin needs to die or this season will be shit.
>first two seasons are legit good
RETARD ALERT.
Season 2 was ok.
Literally every other season is garbage
What did you not like about the 1st? I mean it spawned a generation of shit 'normal people scare' kids, but that's not the creators fault.
Will Wheaton and Felicia Day will get their D&D fix in S2.
Damn, but Dustin is the coolest.
More like Eleven the Show.
The worst character is gonna get more screentime.
Can't be good since the best character is gone
I thought i knew what bad acting and bland camerawork looked like before AHS season 1, but this show takes the term uninspired to a new low.
On top of it all, its so fucking boring. Not a single season has been even remotely scary or creepy with the sole exception of the second season being a little eery at times.
I dont even think its understatement to say it is one of the worst shows to ever air of all time, certainly the worst ever to last this long.
Every problem that the show has now isnt even new, because it was always this bad.
The only reason you even like 1 is because at the time it was pretty much the only series of its kind, but just because it was relatively fresh doesnt mean it wasnt terrible.
Also Sarah Paulson is one of the worst actors on tv right now.
I mean the creepiest it gets are probably openings I agree (tho I would never sa it never gets creepy but everyone has own tolerance) but I didn't think 1 was boring. It was convoluted and later almost nonsensical, but I thought it wanted to be a little ridiculous. I got no problem with it and really found it engaging. I really wanted to know what happens next, and I don't get it that often with tv shows. It being one of a kind at the time might be a factor, but even then how many similar shows that are better you got now?
As for acting, mother and her husband were bland, but that's practically a given in the genre. The rest was good enough for me to not break immersion and Jessica Lange was outright great. Mind you this was the first season of her, before you could get tired of her 'character'.
Fargo was never that good.
It only was in 1996.
or is she?
shiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
2 > 1 (very close second) > 3 > 6 > 4 > 5
Nah, it's gonna be shit. The creators had a clear goal in mind for the original and they accomplished it. They never thought for a second they'd get another season and instead of taking their time going the anthology route, they decided to cash in while they could and shit out a sequel no one asked for in about a year.
Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Masters of Horror.
No one who was actually familiar with the genre asked for*
>third is too campy
No, it's too much of a fucking soap opera. Only fags and women liked it, which lucky for that flamer, are his biggest fans anyway.
