Nobody has found Atlantis because they've been looking in the wrong part of the world. There's an in-depth explanation as to why people thought it was in the Atlantic Ocean. Tldr it can be chalked up to the information having to be passed down for thousands of years through countless languages and cultures.
Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean doesn't really solve many of mysteries in history, which is why it's easily discarded as a theory. But placing Atlantis near Indonesia actually fits insanely well into ancient stories and relgions.

To anyone who thinks that civilizations are not lost, look into the Piri Reis map, which detailed the mountain ranges of Antarctica, and was made iun the 1500's. We had no idea that Antarctica even existed until the 1900's, and at that point it was covered in ice kilometers deep. The map Piri Reis made was put together from older maps he had found, by his own admission.
An advanced civilization capable of detailed map making must have existed at a time when Antarctica wasn't covered in ice. The only plausible theories around that indicate it to be roughly 10-12000 years ago, making it before ancient Egypt.

First, the Antarctic only was discovered in 1775 in passing. The south pole was never reached until 1911, and before that only parts of the ice shelves were seen as we did not have the equipment necessary for large exploration.
At the time when it was discovered it was already covered in kilometers thick ice. The area of antarctica that Piri Reis drew in the 1500's would have been covered in ice even when he drew it, and over 200 years before it was discovered.
Not only that but when it was discovered it was covered in ice. It wasn't until we were able to do sub-ice imaging that we realized the mountain ranges/map he drew matched up perfectly with Antarctica.

Generally speaking crash sites, occupied by debris or not, are assumed to be graveyards and tourism is banned through international law. If the government wanted to hide something about M370's crash site the first thing they would do is raise M370, and every single body inside it, so that nobody assumes that anything is down there and it's exact crash location can be completely forgotten (at least, publicly). The last thing they would do is try and hide the plane itself when it is a thing everyone wants to find.
