It's great, really worth watching for the dark Lovecraftian undertones

It was really stupid. After the first season I had absolutely no desire to go any further. Among the top complaints

>everything about Jada Pinkett Smith's character (Jesus fucking Christ they were trying so hard to make her cool and failing every time)
>Don Maroni being a bad guy and then the show constantly backstepping and trying to paint him as a saint
Actually, I'll just cut it short and mention that EVERY character is a shallow one dimensional caricature and the drama is so forced. Literally the only enjoyable thing was Zsasz and that's just because of how overthetop psycho he was

It's...okay. It's not terrible, but I feel uncomfortable recommending it to someone. Watch the first episode or two to get a feel for it, if you don't like it by then, then drop it.

There are at least 3 different Batman universes.

1) The original '60s era crap hippie-style Batman universe featuring Adam West. A loud, brightly-colored collection of pig shit.

2) The incredibly gay, gothic style Tim-Burtonesque Batman universe, featuring absolutely nothing redeeming.

3) The most awesome, realistic, Christopher-Nolanesque Batman universe, the latest incarnation that we are most familiar with.

Unfortunately, the Gotham tv show seems to belong to the Tim-Burtonesque Batman universe.

It's good, but sometimes does stupid shit for shock value.

Cam can pull off the bitchy attitude well enough, it's when her character needs to show other emotions that she sucks. Still miles better than the dude playing Bruce.

Objectively wrong, Camren can't act to save her life. Everyone else on the cast, including David, can act circles around her.

Nope. David is still acting like he's playing the autistic kid on Touch. It's his only range. Full on autist mode as opposed to just being on the spectrum. Camren is miles better overall because the bitchy attitude suits her character. Where as full on autist ruins Bruce. He is easily the worst part of the show.

Camren puts more energy into her performance, I can give you that, but none of her lines sound convincing, it's painful to watch. She has a severe lack of acting experience and it shows. It's why she never gets a large amount of screentime or storylines of her own and is always relegated being second fiddle to everyone else. She's terrible.

She's more convincing than David. Bruce's parent die... flat acting. Bruce likes Selina.. flat acting. And when you put him next to the dude who plays Alfred it only enhances how fucking horrible David is. At least Camren can do the bitchy acting well. David can't do anything.

I honestly love it. For me it's season 3> season 1 >season 2.

Most people dislike season 1 the most but I really liked the mob aspect. I think all seasons are very good though. The shows not amazing and sometimes is a bit too campy and awkward at times But it's still great and lots of fun.
