To each their own, we all interpret flags differently.

When I see the American flag, I don't instinctively think of the country, and literally think of "Freedom".

With the Mexican flag, I see power and determination. The Aztecs fucking built their city on a lake because they saw an eagle on a cactus. Regardless of their problems at the time, they succeeded, and eventually became the strongest civilization in the continent.
