I think I was told that "We're Back!" was my first theatre experience. Would've been around 5 at the time, only have at best the vaguest of memories of going to see it.

The first movie I remember seeing in theaters was this.

This.

I was born in 1982 and picrelated is 1989, though I clearly remember my parents made us switch to another showing after like 10 minutes, after the main guy french-kissed someone, ripping his tongue out and then fried it in a pan (or something)

I also remember that when Terminator 2 came out, my dad and older brother saw it, but me and my mom had to go see another (G-rated) movie. I'm still pissed to this day

toy story 2

Either 8 Mile or Corky Romano, I forget

The Lion King is the first movie I remember seeing at the theater but according to my parents it wasn't my first one.

I faintly remember my first theater experience being a sci fi flick in the 80's, but it could have been literally anything. I want to believe it was RotJ, but it was probably something shitty.

This is the first I have a distinct memory of.

Could you guys help me out with what this movie could be?

This is one of my earliest memories ever and honestly it might be a nightmare I had after seeing Godzilla 98 when I was 2. I remember a family on top of a roof in a big city while a giant monster was staring at them. A fat guy walks up to the monster and gives some lecture, then the monster kills him. The family or maybe even just random civilians look on at the monster as it walks away. I feel like this is the end of the movie too.

Not even kidding.

...

oh damn, I do remember this too. I missed the scene where Ash got turned to stone, as I had to pee.

Thumbelina

Who framed Roger Rabbit

That I can remember

I'm sure I must have watched one before that but this is the earlier back that i can remember going to watch a film, 1991

it was fucking awesome in the cinema wasn't it!?

I went to see it when I was visiting my Aunty who lived in Torquay, with my Mum and sister England in 96 on my birthday in October. i was 13

Also afterwards, we were in a pub and watched Newcastle destroy Man Utd 5 nil!!

and I got a Walkman for my birthday and a Now cassette tape and binge listened to Breakfast at Tiffany's... fuck me, that was the summer of my life
