please tell me that quip isn't real

>You said yourself, bitch, we're the Justice League

Is this the same villain that was in Wonder Woman?

Both are just guys in a suit of armor.

>I am Pennywise
>Pennywise? Like the band?

This.
This is somehow worse than Marvel's 'every villain is shallow and boring' thing.
Every villain in dc is as dull and repetitive as they could possibly be.

>I am Salt
>Salt? Like a seasoning?

And they are all being killed too

>Steppenwolf
>Steppenwolf? Like that shit book pseuds love?

>Bane? Like a cause of great distress or annoyance?

Ares was so retarded in Wonderwoman, the Gas sniffer was much more convincing bad guy

Steppenwolf is a pretty awesome band, though.

>he doesn't like steppenwolf

The band is awesome though. His name is obviously a homage to them.

>Steppenwolf is a pretty awesome band, though.
>The band is awesome though.

>brainlets can't see the feudal-style armor and shogun character of Steppenwolf
pathetic

that armour is somewhat lovecraftian no?

Your forced meme isn't funny

why does an alien dress like an asian?

>capekinos can't have stylistic choices for villains
kys

not an answer

Comicfag here. Just to let you know, Steppenwolf has never fucking mattered before in comics. Hes Darkseid's bitch uncle and is best known for dying

>stylistic choices
>implying it wasn't just an adaptation.
>implying warner bros isn't shitting out cash grab cape-shit flick bathed in CGI

It looks awful desu senpai. The changes by Whedon are already noticeable and the effects are far from finished despite being like 1.5 months out.

Some asshole over at WB picked Steppenwolf as the villain because he's easy/pointless Darkseid cockteasing and they thought he looked cool.

Now they are pushing him everywhere (in his old look) to make it seem he was always a relevant villain
