I'm thinking of moving to Australia since it's government is pretty based and are doing some cool things right now like shutting down the borders and keeping it right. I was actually born in Albury, New South Wales. Even says "place of birth - Albury, Australia" in my Swedish passport. Am I automatically granted citizenship if I was born there in 1994? Also lived in Melbourne the first 4 years of my life.

Also, how's the nignog cituation in major cities like Melbourne and Sydney?

You have to be born to at least one Australian citizen or permanent resident parent or live here from birth until age 10 iirc

So if you're born here to foreign visitor parents, you're a foreigner.

>born in Australia on or after 20 August 1986 and one parent was a permanent resident or Australian citizen
>born in Australia on or after 20 August 1986 and you spent the first 10 years of your life in Australia

so if one of your parents was a citizen or permanent resident, you're in

otherwise you're a foreigner born here and will forever remain so

Let me tell you about Socialist Alternative, or as we call them up in Queensland, SALT.

SALT are the most insufferable fucksticks on the planet, and I know that on an intimate level because they attempt to crash our Queer Room meeting at my uni every so often. About three quarters of Queer room is exactly as retarded as Sup Forums imagines, but there is a tiny group, that I am in, that consists of almost entirely white males, who are basically only in Queer Room to find people to have sex with and get free tickets to events and free beer on the University's money.

So, within the last few weeks (can't remember but it was definitely this semester) SALT crashes the room. They do this because if one of the Uni staff is here they won't be allowed in but if it's just us students we can't really keep them out short of literally throwing them out. SALT comes in and starts talking about refugees and Pauline "The Absolute Madwoman" Hanson, (which is doubly insulting because those aren't even queer issues, even if I did care about queer issues), and of course it's during lectures so me and a few of my friends and one of the trannies are the only people there.

So, me and a friend (close friend, if you get my drift) start egging on the SALTy bastards saying shit like "yeah the conditions are abysmal" blah blah blah, and then my friend says "you guys should start a petition to put more facilities in the camps so that even if they do have to stay it will be humane."

The SALT guy is unenthusiastic because he wanted us to go to a rally, but he's like humouring us and goes "yeah uh huh good idea what kind of things do you think we should put on the petition?"

The whole group is paying attention now, and I just look at my friend, and his eyes are asking me "should I?" and I'm projecting "yes" as hard as I can, and my friend turns to the SALT guy and says with a complelety serious, dead straight face;
"Gas chambers."
