Yes, we could do it theoretically. But to achive that result we would need decades and the sacrifice of hundreds or thousands of humans because when you edit some genes you have to actually see if the organsm develops properly and can live normally.

And anyway, using crispr to edit a genome is completely different from using a somatic cell to clone something. The results are extremely predictable, assuming you don't fuck it up. And from what I've heard, crispr is incredibly selective.
