Gf and I are trying to prep, got some inheritence to put toward a house, going to swap car for van (at profit) to be able to scrounge money selling furniture people are chucking out. Bump up deposit over a few months to be able to acquire mortgage on extra house, make money renting, save like crazy, acquire more houses rent more, have comfy retirement collecting rent and tinkering with houses while pensions crumble. Prep for armageddon, arm ourselves etc on the side the whole while.
Am I retarded OP? I thought regarding this we should hold onto money, invest in ISA while still available before 27th, no? (It's not so much money we'd be past the banks guaranteed bailout cover thats in the bank, but enough for massive house deposit in the Northeast.)
