Why do horror movies always feature nudity in them? Same question goes for B movies. Can't they do a movie without it?

are you american?

It brings in the 18-24 pleb demographic.

>Why do horror movies always feature nudity in them?
if only there was a movie that addressed that very same notion. in all seriousness, it probably goes back to lust of the 7 deadly sins.

Arousal is a near relative of fear

to catch you with your pants down

Why does that matter?

yurop's horror doesn't typically have nudity.

I can't even name a single european horror flick

the best horrorkino is from europe pleb!

>yurop's horror doesn't typically have nudity.
Except for all the giallo

do they even put nudity in movies anymore?

I don't remember that movie having nudity.

I don't remember the last time I saw nudity in a proper horror movie.

Because they're already going to get an 18 so there's no reason not to

Horror movies before the 1960s very rarely has nudity in them. Just watch old American monster movies.

i think that has to do more so with censorship.

/thread

>censorship
yes and no, in the US most certainly, as for Europe I'm not sure, look at häxen, its proprer horror scenes are orgies iirc

>always
of the last 10 horror movies I watched, not one featured nudity. you must be confusing pleb slasher shit with horror - the boring kind, with sorority sluts running for their lives as they're chased by goon #3,594 in a mask

What if they made a movie where in order to survive people would have to get naked?

go watch this one

the bigger question is why do we feel like having nudity in a movie makes it a cheaper movie

this

u hav to get neaked

because it's usually irrelevant to the plot/story.

To paraphrase a comedian "how would you feel if I put a bank heist scene in the middle of your porno? Exactly. So don't put a sex scene in the middle of my bank heist movie"

American Werewolf in Paris, obviously.

Dod Sno

>"how would you feel if I put a bank heist scene in the middle of your porno? Exactly. So don't put a sex scene in the middle of my bank heist movie"
but if it was a good enough porn and I came during like the first 15 minutes and then there was a semi-related heist scene that mildly engaged me and then more sex later I might jerk off again instead of doing something else

Wouldn't porn be better if everyone was a decent actor and it was like a soap opera where you could become vaguely attached to the characters, thus making hardcore sex scenes more meaningful?

Am I the only person who doesn't care if a movie has nudity? I guess i'm not as uptight as other people when it comes to seeing a pair of tits that it ruins my day.

>Wouldn't porn be better if everyone was a decent actor and it was like a soap opera where you could become vaguely attached to the characters, thus making hardcore sex scenes more meaningful?

Yes, but then those non-porn scenes would actually be relevant to the story/plot. Unlike the sex scene in the middle of a heist movie.

a heist movie about like a big dick stud and his hot slut gf who rob banks and then fuck on a pile of cash would be of mild interest to many people, I think

yes you are the only one in the world. Every single other person is horribly offended by nudity in films and you are some kind of super human to be able to watch films with nudity and not care about it. Wow

It's not seeing tits that's bothersome, it's the out of context nature of the scene that detracts from the main film.

Example: Terminator, the sex scene is part of the plot where a future soldier seeds the leader of the resistance. Contextual.
Example: Halloween, the sex scene is completely unrelated to the plot of a damaged child killing people for "reasons". Non-contextual.

I think "many people" is stretching that a tad.

name three movies where nudity added something to the plot. pro tip you can't

why do blacks always die first?

Niggers always make stupid decisions

horror movies are meant to appeal to your primal self, as is sex, fear and sex have a pretty solid relation to each other

it's hard to write black people and you need to have at least one so they're basically just dead weight to these already shit scripts

Pretty much the only reason I liked Get Out is because of the novelty of a black horror movie where everyone isn't acting like a hoodrat retard. Except the comic relief friend character doing the Aw Sheeeeeit Nigga thing

>Italy
>Europe
choose one

Sup Forums doesnt know shit since the real answer hasn't been given yet.

It's because the movie's rating will be R or NC-17 anyways, so you might as well throw some tits in them.

Turn on France3 news

I never got why people enjoyed that film

It was fun. It was written in like 45 minutes by two guys sick of Hollywood's bullshit. Sure, they ARE Hollywood, but it was just enough of a respite from their usual navelgazing to make something refreshing.

horror is devoid of any real meaning. At least a girl's naked body can be beautiful under certain light (the light of God). Jews don't understand it though

It's played off as part of the morality play aspect of certain horror movie formulas, but the truth is that it's a demand made by the distributors. They know that if an R rated movie has nudity in it, it will sell better than one that doesn't. Been true forever. Even Martin Scorsese had to put a sex scene in Who's that Knocking at my Door? to get a distribution deal. Evil Dead has the tree rape scene. Same shit.

>Jews don't understand it though
and yet they still make them
