OP, stop bumping your shit.

>that last panel

KUBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Have got nothing to do anyway

...

blacksad it's a fucking masterpiece

What's this from?

Hellboy

Post the part where the witches think he is Thor or Odin

...

It is

...

Thanks user

...

Guarnido is a fucking madman to attempt this kind of lighting. Only a master could make it work and not impede on readability and storytelling

The scene in the second Dark Horse collection where he has tea with his client's son in a cafe is the best example of this. Mindblowing artistry

...

This one page made me a Hourman fan.

...

...

lol emma

Rucka's Punisher?

Everything about this is shitty. Those faces...

>Rucka's Punisher?
Yep

God I fucking love Hellboy

This whole page is perfect, it exemplifies everything good about comic books as a concept and as formal artwork.

>that movement of the characters and weapons from panel to panel
>that color pallet
>that heavy white contrast
>that "I'm not real" line followed by the character ending the page by both beating the bad guy and literally pulling the panel to a close

If that bullet was actually correct it'd be a perfect page and should be in a gallery.

...

Oh shit isn't that the same run where the mob pisses on the grave AND corpses of Frank's family?

...

Memeclops getting rekt is probably worth it, but apart from that there's literally nothing good about this page.

I think it is, yeah

Then he ties the guy who did it up in the middle of bum nowhere and shoots him in the gut and leaves him to dire slowly

...

Loved the whole issue.

Cyclops was already dead by the mist at that point. The cyclops that was killed by black bolt just a illusion made by emma.

source

Prophet.

This reads a lot like an RPG, is that on purpose?

>tfw you bought an original Hellblazer from Phillips himself
It isn't the one you posted but still =)

YARE YARE DAZE

The art in blacksad is absolutely gorgeous.

The only flaw is that some of the female characters fall in the "beast-like male, colored human with animal ears, nose and tail" trope, although there are still beast-like females.

Also the lady in the left (with the yellow shirt and blue/black dress) kinda looks like mrs. katswell.

I think that's a problem in the earlier stories, feels like he's a bit more aware of it later on

The skunk lady Weekly has to bail on, for one is both attractive and just as anthromorphic as the rest

Also thought it resembled her btw

Both are in Punisher MAX, but they're different arcs.

...

Yeah, while the art doesn't change that much (at least from what i remember) he does get better on that aspect.

He is capable of pulling off both comical and attractive beast-like females too.

Man I want a "Complete" or "Ultimate" trade paperback edition of that run!

...

Is this from Moore's run?

After, I think during Veitch's period

...

Sounds about right. That is the perfect use of medium you've chosen to tell your story in. In my opinion, that's what actually makes a masterpiece.

Not really a spoiler when you don't know who blew up. You just see a skeleton

>Marvel will never pick this up

Wait, Vietnam spider was an actual thing?

nah its still just a few pages

Anyone have the last pages of Fear Agent?

This caught me off-guard when I was reading it the first time. The last panel always gets me.
The stories that make us great, Sup Forumsmrades.

The Winter Men #5 is one of the most underrate single issues of comics ever.

I have quite a few

...

This is such an excellent crossover.

Brandon Graham wrote it, he's a pretty unique writer and artist i quite enjoy his stuff; he started off with porn comics and now IIRC he's an Image comics partner. He did the ISLAND anthology series which went pretty down hill after he let that furry porn artist do the cover....
But PROPHET is amazing and is just about to finish, he features great artists and it's a space epic like no other.
I recomend "King City" and "Prophet" to catch the scope of his writing.

You know how there's that one picture or song that hits way too close to home so you avoid it even though you love it?

...

...

That's one smug fucking lizard.

...

...

the page where franks throwing her at the window repeatedly is what makes this scene for me

>dat not so subtle Porco Rosso on the lower right
poetry

This page captured damn near everything I loved about Kamen Rider in one image. All it missed was him popping up in some ridiculous location catching the bad guy off guard.

It's also Ignatius J. Reilly.

What is that from?

Then at least post something that isn't moon knight. Or at least Moench Era Moon Knight.

...

...

>firing the whole bullet.

...

And you know the maddest part? It's all traditional. No undo, no cheating, just...

Prophet just finished two weeks ago actually. The five year journey has come to an end.

That the ish where they cart the kid hacker around all day only to finish him off at the end?

>tfw the only thing holding back a reprint and proper collection is the fucking writer, who won't talk to JP about it

His name is in the top left.

Yes it is. I wish The Winter Men would become the cult classic it deserves to be.

Of course it is, you couldn't replicate the look of Blacksad digitally. His process stuff and how he did so many lighting and colour prep tests before doing finals is mindblowing stuff

I'll always have a traditional > digital bias desu
