I really like the sets for his movies.
Any recent movies similar to his in terms of cinematography and sets?
Beyond The Black Rainbow
If you think fucking Jodorowsky is exit level then I'm sorry to say that you haven't even crossed the threshold of kinography. If you really want to start this journey, watch Michael Snow's Wavelength on 0.25x speed, changing the volume from mute to maximum every 30 seconds. This will at least give you some idea of what it truly takes to be a kino connoisseur
I know what that is, and that's enough.
heck no, but I find his movies entertaining.
I dunno that sounds pretty gay
just like you, sweetcakes
>michael snow
>only english name on the list of abyss level kino so easy to memorize
>wavelength
>first michael snow flick that pops up on google
you plebs are easy to spot
You just replied to Exit-level bait lmao
>watches rapists movies
bet you love allen and polanski flicks too
Film Twitter pls go
Oh yeah?
Well so did you
>Snow
>Not Brakhage
Stay pleb, pseud
Is Jodorowsky basically Lynch for retards?
Well you just did again lol
both of those hacks are for retards
Jodorowsky is intro level
Thinking of it as exit level is a sign of plebness
I don't know why people consider Jodo or that new Aronofsky film "deep" when I think they'd agree themselves that their films are simple visual allegories. Something doesn't have to be deep in order to like or appreciate it.
it's dude weed lmao level
t. BasedSnyder poster.
I'm the poster to whom you replied, and you couldn't be more right about Snow. Although your clever idea that I found this name on some esoteric meme picture which you have saved to your iPhone 6s is off base, it's no secret among patricians that Wavelength is a rather accessible piece of experimental film. However, when trying to direct a newcomer through this strange new world of cinema, they must be eased in. The key to my post was not even in the choice of film. Any entry level experimental film is likely to frighten off the average pleb if viewed under standard conditions, so it must be watched at quarter speed in order to give the newly developing kynapses in the brain time to fully process what the viewer is experiencing. Sound produced by kino must be handled with equal care. Training the muscles in the ear for this experience is accomplished in a similar fashion to the training a professional eater trains their stomach. In the latter case it must be stretched out by drinking large quantities of water, followed by rest. The ear muscles are stretched when the oval shaped sound waves of kino (opposed to the circular sound waves emanating from flicks) bombard the ear drum at a high volume. Perhaps next time you will be able to see the big picture of someone else's post, rather than focusing on one small detail that you gleaned from a meme image.
Depth doesn't exist, and good directors aim for clarity. Only a pretentious hack would make a film into a puzzle full of subtleties that actively tries to hide information from the audience.
Do you think all poets are hacks?
Exit level is no longer needing film to enjoy kinography.
Many times an hour, I can visualize and engage on an experiential level with such hypothetical works as Bunuel's adaptation of Asimov's Foundation trilogy, filmed on an unlimited budget and no executive oversight with state of the art 3D IMAX cameras and viewed on a black-and-white 1963 Panasonic 30-inch television facing away from me across a cold, wet, unfinished factory basement, with no sound, and an unseen Werner Herzog cleaning and assembling a gun behind me somewhere in the dark.
It is transcendent.
no
I always felt that Santa sangre was jodos best film.
Exit level, like my poops.
>good directors aim for clarity.
I get it now. The best directors are those that make documentaries.
>not watching nothing but CCTV footage
Get on my level.
You're insulting BtBR with this, it's miles better.
>Brakhage
"Deep" film freshman core
His shorter ones have 6 figures on Youtube
I exlusively watch documentaries with no post-prod commentary, as true auteurs don't need any external voice to explain what's going on
this is kinö:

Absolutely kinögraphíque in the highest possible order.
Jodorowsky is either a total hack or just fucked in the head, just read the crap he writes in social media on a daily basis
This nigga unironically believes he's the reincarnation of some deity. Watch Jodorowsky's dune, he talks like he was the 2nd came of Jesus
