After seeing Mike Pence and Donald Trump standing next to each other, I noticed their height difference. I found that Mike Pence is 6" tall, and judging by many pictures, Trump looks at least 4-5 inches taller. I go to look up Trump's height, and he is only 6"2'
There must be a massive conspiracy to make Trump not seem like a giant, or to make Pence not look like a tinny manlet.

Nah, Trump's height is legit. All his children are tall even the girls. Ivanka is 5'11" and Tiffany is 5'8". Baron can probably graze a basketball rim and he's only 10 years old. Pence is just a shorty.
Just because Trump is already massive doesn't mean that he can't use heels to make himself appear even taller. I'd surprised if he didn't use, since everyone else is likely to do so too. Maybe Pence isn't wearing for the purpose of making Trump seem bigger? Making Trump look good is his job after all.
Hillary has no chance in winning this. At 5'5 she has to look so much upwards if she is going to make eye contact with Trump. Which she has to do, avoiding eye contact is not what leaders usually do.
He had to over-do it in typical Jeb-fashion.
