RotJ has some of the best stuff of the entire franchise like the throne room and space battle but the rest of the movie is a slog. You can see George's worst habits start to form, like an overreliance on slapstick comedy and appealing to children.

However, The Disney Wars and the Prequels should be grouped together as equally inferior.

This desu. Return of the Jedi was the beginning of the end. At least TFA has Kylo Ren, who is very different from the original trilogy and a cool character I thought. Jedi's only redeeming factor is the throne room scene. Everything else is pretty shit. You can cut out a solid hour and half from Jedi and not miss a bit.

Rogue One is worst Star Wars bc it's not a Star Wars movie, it's an actual soulless cash grab and edited into a mess. At least you can mostly follow what's happening in the prequels. I fell asleep in the theatre after the black man we new for 2 mins died for no reason and we were supposed to care. I hated everyone in RO.

People forget the first 2/3rds of Rogue One were boring and poorly paced because the last 1/3rds was pretty good.

Rey grows to learn to use the force, way to fast and quite unearned I agree. Her small development is that she lets go of waiting for her family on her planet, pretty weak and meaningless but at least her character is well acted and likeable. Everyone in the prequels are weird aliens with no sexual desire or human emotion.

Respect George Lucas the creators of Star Wars, the prequels are a part of his vision and the entirety of the vision that is Star Wars
