No, we've got history. We've been around from hundreds of years, which isn't long in the grand scheme of things, but it isn't like there was nothing leading up to the creation of the USA. There is the history of immigration from the British Empire, what lead up to that, and the hundreds of years afterwards. In a sense, European history is our history (at least for White Americans).
Who I really feel for is the black people, natives, and abos. Not a single acconishment throughout the thousands of years they've been around. No history at all.
