Brazil

How many times did you watch Brazil today?

Could never sit through that movie and I've sat through some long and boring shit.

783.2 times

Terry Gilliam is a hack.
Fear and Loathing and 12 Monkeys are good if you're 16 and edgy enough, but other than that, he's shit

Brazil is massively overrated
Fear and Loathing is so cringey i had to turn it off after 20 minutes
12 Monkeys in kino but has not aged well

Six or seven times I think. Love it.

Who cares if it's aged well or not?

Brazil is ultra comfy. If you don't like it then you're probably a poor taste loser.

I can't believe the movie only cost 15M to make... it looks ridiculously expensive

haven't seen it in years but I guess I'm supposed to finish an album by the end of the year?

>movie's about third world
It's stupid because he get caught and he escapes then he gets caught again, I was like "what the fuuuck" and I rated it 1 star.

Not him but you are right buddy this movie isn't really well-thought thatfeel.jpg

Please come to Brazil

Help Sup Forums. This is one of my favorite movies but I can't get my girlfriend to watch it because she says it looks weird and she's never "in the right mood". What do i do?

Don't bother getting her to watch it. She doesn't need to like what you like and she never will. Try to only watch comfy popcorn movies with her that you don't really need to pay much attention to anyway

go to reddit you fucking normie.

It's got a pretty satisfying romance where a pretty woman falls for a chud. She should be able to instantly relate.

this is a comfy popcorn movie user
i wont
you got me, i'll tell her that

Tomorrow was another day.

The morning found me miles away.

With still a million things to say.

Now.

As twilight dims the sky above.

Recalling thrills of our love.

There's one thing I'm certain of.

Return.

I will.

To old.

Brazil.

I think it went something like that. Loved the song.

I remember I got my friend to watch it just by putting it on one night when he wanted to watch a movie.

It helps if you don't try to hype up movies too much to people, just wait until your friends or gf or whatever want to watch a movie and then just put it on and only say something like "this movie is fucking nuts".

Sounds like you have a chill type of friend.

>It helps if you don't try to hype up movies too much to people
This. More movies have been ruined by unrealistic expectations then actual bad film-making.
I also try to couch all recs in subjective terms like "I really liked this movie" as opposed to objective terms with "This movie is really good."

>this is a comfy popcorn movie user
It is for you, not for casual movie watchers. You need to understand that it is extremely likely that she won't enjoy it (especially not as much as you do) and you'll just end up feeling disappointed and bitter about it if you force her down this path. It's best to just get over it and accept that hobbyist movie lovers are far and few between. Don't try to show your favorite movies to people, just watch new, easily digestible movies with them.

Not enough.

Boring ? The pacing is rather good to me. The theme probably doesn't appeal to you.

15 millions ? I had no idea. And they say Terry Gilliam is a hack. Such a result with so few money is rather impressive.

>they say Terry Gilliam is a hack
Plebs maybe. Even if you don't like his movies I don't know how you can argue that he isn't a competent and creative filmmaker.
I still think he's the best choice to direct a Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldrich movie.

>ultra comfy

Uh what?

None but I should've.

What did they mean by this?

love this flick

One of my favorite movies by far, it's unironically the most kafkaesque kinomatographique ever made (i was calling this movie kafkaesque way before the start of this flavor of the month meme heh)

I live here, user. This movie sounds like paradise.

>Tell someone back to r3ddit.
>USES normie

accurate, I bought the criterian edition at age 16

God I love this film.

>r3ddit

Are you such a bitch nigger you can't say "reddit"?

>nobody ever talks about baron munchansen or time bandits
>even though time bandits had sean connery and baron had uma and ollie reed

i dont get it? why aren't those movies more popular?

ever time i write R eddit i cannot post bc it's supposed SPAM

Almost a perfect movie.

The overly slapstic car chase breaks the mood a bit in the middle.

Otherwise, it's a fucking masterpiece. The sets, the performances, the plot. So damn good.

he probably thought it was filtered lol

stupid movie for people who don't know how to read very well

I'm not too fond of Time Bandits, but Baron Munchausen is a feast of a movie.

Although I still prefer the soviet Munchausen kino.
