>It's a Dax episode.

If Data had been a woman instead what would her name have been?

.

Hard to come by.

What happened to Ensign Wildman?

She was the science officer on the bridge in some early episodes. then after nearly dying, the character vanishes. While her daughter becomes a main character. the ensign is still alive and on the ship. which makes it creepy that we see Naomi in her quarters, but her mother is never there.

Hole

>actually defending Nemesis in any way, shape, or form

Literally all trek episodes and movies, including TAS, are better.

Yes, even Tuvix.
Yes, even Threshold.
Yes, even god damned Profit and Lace.

Dayla.

Public Fuckbot unit 1

...

>Chronologically, Ensign Wildman does not appear again after the events of "Once Upon a Time". She does appear in the later-produced episode "Fury", though only in footage that is actually set earlier than "Once Upon a Time", in 2371. However, Wildman is also mentioned in various episodes that not only were produced after "Once Upon a Time" (S5E05) but are also set after that installment, where she is referred to as still being alive and well.

.y

Saying something is better than Generations is not really defending it.

youtube.com/watch?v=4fK-9nU4NOk

Presumably she was still on the ship doing her job, we just didn't see her.

Same thing happened with Joe Carey, who was a recurring character for the first two seasons, all-but-disappeared for seasons 3-6, then reappears at the end of season 7 and gets killed on the nuclear winter planet. Basically the series equivalent of getting shot the day before retirement. He had a couple of kids waiting for him back home as well.

What's so bad about Generations? I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet but I know all the spoilers so don't think you can be a faggot and ruin it for me.

She still dances.

>What's so bad about Generations?
Everything.
Watch it and know my suffering.

>In 2378, Samantha and Naomi were reunited with Greskrendtregk when Voyager returned to Earth. (VOY novel: Homecoming)

>Six months later, she and her family attended Voyager's relaunch ceremony, and by that time she was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. (VOY novel: Old Wounds)

>In 2382, for her part in helping to reveal the conspiracy behind the catomic health crisis, Samantha was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and given her choice of assignments - she chose her husband's homeworld of Ktaris. (VOY novel: Atonement)

>On stardate 85563.8 (July 25, 2408), Commander Naomi Wildman sent a letter to her mother Samantha, describing her first command, the 150 year old starbase Deep Space Station K-7 on the frontline of the Klingon War. (STO novel: The Needs of the Many)

>In 2409, Samantha was on her way to Deep Space 9 to support the crew of USS Rapier, which had been lost in the Gamma Quadrant for six years. (STOmission: "Rapier")

Fucking wiki formatting.

I'm really lenient when it comes to Trek movies. I liked V. I would probably end up liking all of the TNG movies to some extent.

>The villain is shit and his plan isn't really interesting.
>Data gets his emotions chip and turns so obnoxious, his scenes are annoying.
>I know people also didn't like Shatner in it, but I was fine with it.
>The way Kirk was killed was stupid.
>A bunch of retarded Klingons manage to take down the Enterprise.
That said, I still liked the movie better than Insurrection and Nemesis.

Voyager is a science vessel, but had no regular science officer character like the other shows. It sort of passed around harry, doctor, janeway, and torres until 7 was on the show.

Wildman should have been the Science officer.

all of the TNG movies are shit, no exceptions

I'm not whoever was trying to defend Generations. I just find Nemesis incredibly apalling.

I get the impression watching Fresh Hell that Spiner is TRYING to do the self-aware "dude i'm such a prick" thing but he doesn't really like it, like he still feels frustrated having to prove himself to all the unwashed masses.

i would watch this Brent Spiner porno if this chick was in it and he was in Data makeup.

Well, just watch them.
The best thing about them is watching the Plinkett reviews afterwards.

Clearly they are since the woman in your picture is, in fact, hideous

I also liked V and still find Nemesis unbearable.

>them hips and fat mommy fupa

Princes Leia is passable, the one trying to do Crusher is fucking hideous.

Fuck you, I liked it.
Its not my favorite by any means but at least its not generations.

You have bad opinions.

Feelings

Since men put more value on data and women put more value on feelings

are you really shitting on a McDowell villain?

>guinan's people are refugees, presumably after the borg wiped out their home
>though like a bunch of crack addicts they are trying to get sucked into a alternate dimension where time doesn't pass relative to the normal world and is basically a personalized heaven for everyone.
>they get rescued.
>mcdowell can't give up on not being in heaven. so he has been blowing up stars to alter the path of the phenomena to safely come and get him.

>RLM
Don't ever reply to me again.

I'm glad you like her. Have another.

W-Wow user, you're such a contrarian, I wish I was as cool as you...

Voyager wouldn't have had many science officers on board the original mission was to recover Tuvok from the Maquis. Do they really need a dedicated science officer as a character? Jadzia was ostensibly a science officer, but I don't remember seeing her doing any actual research. May as well have worn a red uniform. What do science officers add to the show besides more techno-babble (something Voyager was notorious for)? I'm not questioning their value in the fictional setting, I'm questioning their entertainment value.

This.
The TNG movies are all pure fucking garbage. Every single one of them.

...

I said don't ever reply to me again. I'm warning you.

The Trek shows solved that by having the science officer be a weird alien thing.
Spock, Data, Jadzia, Janeway.

First Contact is fun and you can suck my dick

First Contact is decent desu

Nemesis oh my fuck

>mfw I just watched Nemesis for the first time a few nights ago since it came out back in 2002
>mfw it's even worse than I remember

good lord, what were they thinking?

Please do not shit on Malcom who is my future uncle-in-law.

>are reg was at first contact

fuck

Data wasn't a science officer. That's basically my point.

>Janeway
Sisko was basically a weird alien thing as well if you think about it.

yeah, small part tho. iirc that scene was his only one.

It's fucking asinine garbage. It's retarded shit that doesn't even come close to matching the original effect of the Borg.

Shaking in my boots, pinkskin.

>science officer
>Janeway

cute

...

You just know.

...

I like it a lot, but I can see why people dislike it for just trying to be fan-bait in terms of "it's Picard and Kirk in one movie!".

Data

KLINGED

brb, posting only good El Aurian

Then why does he wear a mustard uniform?

it's fun, user, geez. don't get so angry about it.
>tfw no sound on Sup Forums so can't post more FC webms

Yo that's a BIG guy on the left right there.

Lore

Plinkett deconstructing movies is fun, accept it.

It's.
fucking.
garbage.

You have the iq of a chimp if you think some dumb borg "queen" head shit is "DUDE LOL JUST SHUT YOUR BRAIN OFF, IT'S FUN LOL". You don't fucking belong in Trek threads, go watch some star wars shit.

I've never watched them. RLM is too reddit for me.

Spock also wore gold a few times.

Get mad again.

Pinkett yes RLM in general not so much

jesus man, it's a fun action movie. I'm not asking you to like it, but you don't need to act like a fucking retard telling me I'm shit for liking it. Why don't you go and neck yourself you fucking autist.

See why could he not just modify a torpedo and shoot himself at it? It makes no sense.

First Contact was a good action movie, but the Borg Queen is basically what killed the Borg. They went from being a terrifying and implacable gestalt consciousness, to the bumbling, mindless henchmen of a hammy queen who alternates between two personalities: Bond girl and Bond villain. People blame Voyager for ruining the Borg, but this is where it started.

>it's a fun action movie
I bet you like JJTrek too

who is this gal

you mean green

reminder that the borg queen is the side effect of reintroducing Hugh to the collective

How's that?

...

never seen them, but thanks for presuming shit.
I guess so, but the Borg were only really threatening the first like three times we saw them and after that they brought in Hugh to try to bring a humanising element to it. So I really don't see what people were expecting with the Borg in this movie or why the Queen should be blamed for making them softer, so to speak. They already were going that route.

>reintroduce individualism to the collective
>the Borg has to adapt
>restructures itself into an hive with a queen

I don't know, just shitposting

Give it a shot, what this user said is right
just stay in the Plinkett movie reviews and you'll almost certainly have a good time.

Laal

Reminder that Orville IS Trek and STD is not.

What is this from?

Perfect.

The Borg Queen was an entity that already existed when Picard was assimilated.

youtube.com/watch?v=mMoxpM434k8

Data (pronounced with a soft A).

Think he tapped that?

Orville is confirmed shit.
STD is most likely shit.

Right now, STD is winning.

queers

Yes

If they got Robert Zdar doing klingot work I might have to actually watch this garbage.

Hell yeah

I think he was probably more interested in her boyfriend.

does she still look like this
?

Sup Mike

Bill might be a crazy old guy, but I hope I too will still be up and about when I'm 86.

Yes.

>STD is most likely shit.
>most likely
It's set 10 years before TOS, and THIS is a Klingon.
