i saw a few eps of chicago justice and it's not the city that i hated about it. it's the soapie style relationship drama writing. the crimes they investigate are just plot devices for the cops to spend half the episode moaning and whining and having angsty talks about their angsty lives. law&order and svu has angsty scenes, yes, but they don't spend half the episode on them.
