They will try and pretend that Trump's "Ok I guess" quote from Howard fucking Stern will matter, but it won't - Trump will just keep hammering it into people's heads that he opposed Iraq and Hillary, with her poor judgement did not.
All in all, it is looking like a sheer and overwhelming victory. Liberals have never lost the zeitgeist before and it is a truly disorienting and terrifying experience for them. At this moment in time, and at no other since the 1980's with Ronald Reagan, a Republican candidate has control over the social environment and not them. He did a good job at not walking into any pitfalls. I've seen a concerning amount of landmines that could've led to another "punishing women for abortions" fiasco but Trump made it through safely.
Still, his performance was not that great, flimsy around the edges.
A specific suggestion, he REALLY needs to develop the "We don't know if Russia did the Wikileaks leak" angle for the debate. Reinforce the point that aggressively antagonizing and demonizing a foreign country for doing something that you can't confirm they did is a disastrous foreign policy. Especially if you're threatening military action.
