Merc's prosthetic legs didn't shatter when they had to sustain the force of both merc's kick and yang's punch, and even when one of them was directly hit by yang, allit needed was a quick repair, and we clearly see merc's prosthetics are way older than yang's arm and probably even custom made instead of being an army produced limb.
There is no way an arm probably produced by the same people who gave the general half of his body will shatter for a punch, especially since they made specifically for her, knowing punches is the way she fights.
I too am convinced she'll lose it again once it breaks irremediably, but i highly doubt it'll be too soon and that easily.
