As the three title characters he has already signed on members from his stable of previous works including James Franco taking on the role Julian, Seth Rogen as Bubbles and Danny McBride as Ricky. "We're still in talks for some of the other characters but we think that Steve [Carell] and Jonah [Hill] as a certain Trailer Park Supervisor and his Assistant would be perfect." I agree. Eastbound and Down was it's own thing, and I love it. McBride already did the dumb redneck thing perfectly; and many times reminded me a little of an amalgam of Ricky and Julian. TPB has already been run into the ground. Apatow needs to frig off.
