Probably not until Hondo gets it from iTunes some time tomorrow. Our HERO stopped being able to give us early links, supposedly because Disney sent him a cease and desist. Not sure what the real reason is, but the last two weeks we've had longer waits than usual.

>tomorrow Fuck, I forgot how late/early it is, I guess I should say "later today"
>the audience meets Jyn as a young child when she's given a necklace with a Kyber crystal by her mother Lyra. At the same time, a shuttle carrying Director Orson Krennic and his Imperial Death Trooper squad arrives at the Erso homestead to find Jyn's dad, scientist-turned-farmer Galen Erso. Wanting to keep his family safe, Galen confronts Krennic and balks when the Imperial officer talks about the superweapon of mass destruction bringing peace to the galaxy.
>A tragedy occurs in the Krennic situation, Galen is taken and Jyn runs for her life, hiding in a cave and ultimately being found by Rebel extremist Saw Gerrera, a veteran of the Clone Wars.
>Years later, Jyn is a prisoner in an Imperial labor camp on Wobani, and Rebels bust her out when cargo pilot Bodhi Rook tells the good guys that Galen is a major key to the Death Star project. The team starts to take shape: Cassian Andor is shown as a Rebel secret-agent type who has informants in the underworld, assassin Baze Malbus is a trigger-happy sort, and his blind monk buddy, Force-sensitive warrior Chirrut Imwe, beats up a battalion of Stormtroopers when the Rebels ambush Imperial forces in Jedha City.
NEW PLANET >Wobani
Which makes: Wobani Yavin Jedha Eadu Yavin Scarif
>There's a new droid in town. While little BB-8 stole scenes in Force Awakens, the droid to watch in Rogue One is K-2SO, a reprogrammed Imperial robot with attitude played via performance capture by Alan Tudyk. In the Jedha attack, he gives Jyn some lip after she shoots a lookalike machine (Did you know that wasnt me?). He also smacks Cassian in the face when they get stopped by Stormtroopers and the human Rebels are posing as the droids “prisoners”: “There’s a fresh one if you mouth off again,” he warns Cassian.
Henry Harris
It's on offshoot of The Clone Wars, which I still haven't caught up yet
Chase Sanders
>Do I need to read Darth Vader and Star Wars main series simultaneously? I didn't. They only crossover like once.

If you don't want to read Son of Dathomir yet, I'd say Kanan or Obi-Wan & Anakin, though I'm biased as a prequel fan.
Noah Morris
Link in picrelated Here's a guy talking about his experience with it. Pretty interesting stuff. He's also asking people there what they though about it.
Why does facebook links count as spam?
Aiden Nguyen
Is Saw gerrera the first case of a character that made his debut on a SW cartoon and then made the leap to the big screen?
Not counting Boba Fett
Gavin Peterson
I'm enjoying Rebels, so I'm interested in reading Kanan

Gabriel Hall
Yes. When they announced who Forest Whittaker was playing they made quite a big deal about this.
Jose Diaz
No, technically, characters like Grievous appeared in the clone wars micro series first.
Yes, they were developed for the film, but you shouldn't ignore Boba because there was literally no "officially canon 100% for sure" stance to even use when it came to anything before 7.
Jaxon Fisher
Wasn't there a Rogue One comic planned that then got cancelled? What happened and is there any chance of it happening at a later point?
Lincoln Price
>Wasn't there a Rogue One comic planned that then got cancelled? Yes >What happened and is there any chance of it happening at a later point? Supposedly it was the reshoots that canned it, and since none of us are in Lucasfilm, we can't say with any certainty if it will happen in the future.
Asher Cox
Sad
Oliver Davis
I think the thing is that the 4-part comic was meant to be an adaptation of the film, so obviously a reshoot prevented that from happening on time. It could still happen (TFA's comic adaptation didn't release until June this year). As for the one-shot, I can't think of a good reason as to why they cancelled it. Maybe they were worried that they'd have to delay the film and didn't want to commission the work that early if so?
Caleb Perez
Mega or similar when?
Lincoln Martinez
If the reshoots introduced significant changes, maybe they can redraw some things and publish it later. It's just weird that they are publishing tons of promotional material, book adaptations and a prequel book, but nothing in comic form. I'm currently reading Catalyst and I'd love some comics with it too, as I'm pretty hyped for Rogue One because it rekindled my interest in Star Wars again in the first place
Brody Campbell
Yes when ????
