alright so i'm new here wrote a post in the other thread. open comm milnet is western canada is 100% silent which hasn't happened since the blackout in 2003 and for a few days after 9/11. I'm halfway up a resort mountain so I can pick up even the reservist open comms in Manitoba on most nights.
I live 350km from cold lake but we had three jets and what seemed like half a dozen helecopters fly over in the direction of vancouver. My power went out twice. Can anyone confirm USA fed civvy response comms down too? Some russian guy was saying his comms were quiet which really got me scared. I know better than to freak out when I read Sup Forums but something doesn't feel right. My local radio board has no activity only speculation so i'm left in the dark. Newswires are reporting record nuclear explosion at 0km depth in NK but that doesn't really explain what seems to be going on..
