Why is everybody so hellbent on removing the white nationalism from the alt-right ? If they don't like white nationalism then why are they leeching the movement ? I don't know a single alt-right account that isnt at the very least pro-white.

it's not so much about white nationalism more that the alt right has a clearish message and goal. It's about diluting whatever that message and goals are. The same thing happened to the tea party and occupy movements. By disrupting whatever the core message or goal of a movement is it spreads out the movements energy and attention to all these other minor concerns crippling the movement.

Richard Spencer did not coin alt-right, he just came up with an idea of alternative right, which is basically enlightened Nazis. To be clear this is good for the alt-right, not bad. What he's saying is making it seem less hateful and more legitimate. If you do want to consider yourself alt-right because of your pro-white mindset that's fine, but know that this is the type of thing you should be saying in public rather than hateful things about other races.
Take a page out of what a lot people joke on here about, but the "jews" book. They try to manipulate a little more in getting what they want done. They don't go around yelling off in public about how bad everyone is that's not a jew. They target people's empathy and confusion rather than say hateful things to get people to write them off. The point is "jews" might hate whites and other races as much as you hate them, but they know using that as the forefront of their argument will never work. Take a page out of Milo's book and other more eloquent speakers of the movement and realize this helps and that just being a neo-Nazi is never going to get you anywhere as there will never be a traditional "Hitler" like rise again in any of the superpowers, especially not in this country.

This. If the alt-right isn't white nationalist, anybody can join without the toxic label of "racist" and "antisemite". That's opens it up to entryism and astroturfing.
