Is this the closest we ever got to a faithful adaptation of The Three Musketeers?

I feel no show was ever successful in depicting BASED Richelieu as the character he was in the first novel. He, as the story's villain, fucking WINS at the end.

Melissa was 100% waifu material.

Female always look like a human.

Not really Sup Forums, but I've always had a soft spot for Bagi

i hope this gets a series
how long till tezuka's grandaughter publishes all his smut?

soon

Already happened - it's in the December issue of Shincho magazine.

It already had a series.

Around the world in 80 days. (Yes is an adaptation of the Jules Verne book)

Beijing Opera Cats from China. I'd love to talk about it more, but half of the time, it's mistaken for anime and deleted. But Sup Forums doesn't want anything to do with Chinese animation.

Sup Forums is the right board, but it's seldom that simple.

...

The Spaceship Sagittarius was fun and surprisingly mature show dealing with slavery and war and all sorts of stuff.

Other really good ones not listed are Miyazaki's Sherlock Hound, Swat Kats, and virtually anything by Mamoru Hosada.

>miyazakis sherlock hound
But it's not even his. He only worked on like 10 episodes.

Well, at least we got some cuties out if it.

why do the females always look more human like than the males in these shows?

Plus, that opening

There was the anime.

...

gosh, this looks beautiful. So glad they're retaining the style of the movie while also keeping it affordable for TV.

>Beijing Opera Cats
can you find the episodes online?

Only in Chinese, sadly.

Looks great, should tide me over until the sequel comes out.

That isn't a problem. As soon as we have subs, it's all okay.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HumanoidFemaleAnimal

Not a lot of people making Chinese subs.

If the show ends on a strong note, and will garner a reputation as "a GOOD show", someone multilingual will seek it out and make subs.

I love Osamu Tezuka to death but holy shit can his stuff be fucking weird at times.

Romy (?) was my first waifu.

It went ok until Morrowind came out and then downhill from there.

>I feel I'm 6 again

Still know the lyrics of that by heart

Need to add that to "watch later someday" list.

I've actually been working for a while on OCRing the subs that already exist in the videos. With google translate alone they'll be Backstroke of the West tier, but at least it's a starting point, and I intend to share the original language SRTs as well as the translated ones so that in case someone who actually knows chinese wants to come along and help they can do so more easily

Bump

Anything is appreciated. I don't know if the quality of the writing or the direction of the plot will make it a good show when properly animated, but the story looked interesting. Each villain has 5-6 episodes, with them being met and fought, then cured of their darkness, after which they usually teach the heroes something and help them on their journey. I like that concept.

When properly translated, rather. God, I hate fucking up sentences.
