Yes.

this movie honestly is boring as fuck

It's on par with most other cannibal gore films in terms of effects but there are actually dead animals shown too.

>is it really that messed-up?
only if you like turtles

this. i seen it twice.

do bad pepoel hurt turt???

Kind of. It has real animal cruelty so take from that what you will.

i don't really care all that much about animal cruelty really. but realistic looking human cruelty (specially if it looks all 70s and grainy) kind of mess with me

post top three zombies movies NOW

>Warm Bodies
>World War Z
>Resident evil 3

Not really.

It's not overtly gory. It's just kind of disgusting due to the animal deaths on camera.

Good film though.

m-me too..

Anyone seen this? It's by the same director.

fulci's zombie
return of the living dead
burial ground

Yes.

yeah, it's awesome.

is that the one with the taxidermist that kills girls and uses his dead wife's corpse for fetishy stuff?

>Warm Bodies
fuck you

i loved fulci's zombie enough to fuck the zombie from the poster

no, it's 2 guys accompany rich people to a party and torture them.

It's the best found footage movie ever made. Fun music, interesting concept and good effects. Animal cruelty scenes are blown way out of proportion.

Haven't seen the movie but this song is pretty good.

Or pigs, or monkeys, or some mammal thing that they call a muskrat, but I don't know what it really is.

I thought it was a squirrel or mouse

Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead

That was easy. Zombi 2 and Return of the Living Dead are runners up.

holy shit that sounds really cool.

Goodbye Uncle Tom was better
a music made for this movie plays in Drive!!!!

That's beyond the darkness

it really is

For anyone posting their top three zombie movies. If Bio Zombie, The Video Dead, or Dellamorte Dellamore aren't in your top three, then you are wrong.

yep

That's one of the "saw the cover a million times at the video store as a kid" movies, but I've never watched it.

haven't seen Dellamorte Dellamore but that grim reaper looks hardcore as shit

Where have I seen that dude before?

>Night of the Living Dead (watch 1968 and then 1990, same movie different FX)
>Return of the Living Dead (1985)
>Dawn of the Dead (the 2004 remake, because the first 10 minutes are better than the entire original movie)

or Buio Omega or Zombi 10 or Demencia or The darkness or Buried Alive

Watch this zombie movie ASAP. You will not be disappointed.

>Night of the Living Dead (watch 1968 and then 1990, same movie different FX)

It pretty drastically changes Barbara's character arc too. I actually saw '90 before '68, and was shocked when I realized that she spends 80% of the movie in a comatose state.

Jean Rollin's films are terrible. i think i'll pass.

i love the cinematography in the 90s version.
though they really copped out with the ending

Suit yourself, you'll miss out on a fantastic movie. It's not very similar to his porn works. It's a horror movie with a very heavy atmosphere and beautiful cinematography.

I don't know, I'm kind of glad they mixed it up a bit. Everybody probably went into it expecting the downer "everybody dies" ending.

I am super biased about the 1990 Night of the Living Dead remake being the better movie. I watched it on VHS at my aunt and uncle's farm that's a mile away from a bumfuck nowhere country cemetary when I was 10 years old.

Scared me for life.

oh i hear you. i grew up in a farm right in the middle of nowhere. i was too scared to even look out the window

Same reason I got really into Friday the 13th as a kid. The area I grew up was really rural, and looked identical to Crystal Lake, so that shit kind of hit close to home. Everyone in my area was "Jason people" when Freddy vs Jason came out.

>should i watch this one?.
While the soundtrack is great, you should watch Africa Addio instead

should watch it. i dont agree with bio zombie or video dead but dellamorte dellamore is underrated. great atmosphere throughout the whole movie and an actually well thought out plot for a horror movie.

>brutally killing animals because you're too lazy for props and makeup
why are filmmakers so morally bankrupt

this is the best answer and if you haven't seen Burial Ground you are a pleb and should leave this thread

It was to give the human violence more legitimacy, and seem more real.

They killed an actual turtle. That's the only real messed up thing.

Anyways, I actually thought it was a really good film.

that's dumb as shit

>you dont have to eat in jungle!
muricans everyone.

>Night of the Living Dead (1968)
>Shaun of the Dead
>28 Days Later

It wasn't a survival reality show faggot, they had actual food for the cast.

I would rather eat fresh meat than canfood.

>I would rather kill an animal for no other reason than shock value in a shitty movie than eat actual food back at camp
You're an idiot.

Just watch The Sandlot

>killing turtle for food 40 years ago is absolutely terrible thing to do!
>now, back to my hamburger

This is more of a drama than a horror film. I enjoyed it, though. This movie was more about morality, and who were actually the bad guys in the film.

Man... something about old VHS art freaks me the fuck out

Wrong

It's famous not for it's technical excellence, but it's shock value. It has no shock value in modern times, therefore it's now worthless. Don't even bother. It really is boring as all hell. Kinda like Eminem.

>Dawn of the Dead
>Zombi
>Shaun of the Dead

Runner ups: City of the Living Dead, Return of the Living Dead

It's a run of the mill Italian cannibal splatter flick. Everyone gets butthurt because the turtle is killed.

the fucking soundtrack is amazing. Riz Ortolani is a genius

A coatí, South American long-faced racoons

>Tombs of the Blind Dead series
>Burial Ground: The Nights of Terror
>Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead

Return of the Living dead
Dellamorte Dellamore
Dead Alive

I like the comical ones
And DD/RotLD both have best girls

The only good zombie thing from the last decade is Izombie. Prove me wrong.

Eating meat from a domesticated cow and killing a wild turtle for shock value are two different things, stupid vegan.

it's cute!!

>Tombs of the Blind Dead
women love this scene, i've found: youtu.be/2JJHHMzeL0w?t=3382

They Beyond
Re-Animator
Dellamorte Dellamore

Yes, they get used to people really fast.

It's documentary style and has an uncanny valley feel to some of the scenes, it's worth watching at least once.

its a great semi found footage movie. if you can deal with the real animal violence the story is actually pretty great.

>28 Days Later
>not 28 Weeks Later
Shit taste
