real costumes look like garbage, they tried it in TFA and they looked wobbly and cheap

because designers are idiots. first of all stormtrooper costumes should be ceramic, not plastic. secondly, visible signs of weariness, they wear them constantly and go to battle in them and theres not a single scratch ffs, put some scraches, cracks and places where white paint fell off on it. then they'll look good

But user, those costumes looked like that on purpose since The Force Awakens is a love letter to the original Star Wars Trilogy owned by The Disney Company

Despite all the shit cgi the prequels, I did like the aesthetics they were going for.

Why does it look like this? Aren't they spending gorillions on this stuff and using the best in the industry? Square Enix had better looking CGIs like a decade ago.
