I started with Human Revolution (which is my favorite game btw), and after finishing it I really really tried to get into DE1, but it's just bad by today's standards. It desperately needs a remake imo.

Thats some normie tier shot the way to go with Hoi is Hoi 3 with all expansions in multiplayer. They made the game easy to understand for plebs and Hoi three might be one of the best and most complex games created. Also Victoria 2 with mods and dlcs is a masterpiece
