Are they all bilingual?
Sont-ils bilingues ?
(French is not accurate. I tried.)
Are they all bilingual?
Yes, but its Mandarin-English not French.
They are """"""bilingual"""""" but only in specific territories
We are the only true bilingual country in the americas
English only
So I take it you have a negative opinion of Quebec, and vice versa?
French english cantonese masterrace
non
I honestly can't tell if that's French or Spanish..
I live really close to Acadiens, yet I can't understand or speak French at all. Most people in my community don't or can't speak French.
English only, im not learning redneck french
It doesn't matter if you tried. They still hate you.
t. tried to learn franch once.
No. My French teachers didn't even speak it. Outside of Quebec, Ontario, and New Bruinswick speaking French is a literal meme.
We are forced to pass French class if we want to graduate highschool. But nobody remembers that shit.
It's required to work in any government positions to speak fluently both english and french.
Pépé
I'm "High School French Immersion Bilingual"
So not really. I was in Paris in May and was able to get by though.

Almost nobody here is fluent in French. It's very rare.

i don't hate the french. just can't be bothered.
>GENOCIDE THEM NOW
you should have done that a couple centuries ago when you had a chance. You made us what we are today. Fuck you
I speak Russian and Spanish but refuse to learn French so the Frogs die off faster
>Sont-ils bilingues?
>French is not accurate. I tried
That's 100% accurate.
Be proud, superior languages are not for everyone.
juste au quebec, mon ami
Yes, I speak English and Cantonese
Acadians reliably butcher both
>second language
>not mandarian
Unless we are trying for a government position w pretty much just expunge french from the brain at grade 9
Still though give me a document in French and I could probably give you the gist of what it's talking about.
Southern Ontario detected. The north is serious frog country. I considered moving into a small town up north, north of cottage country until I learned this. I find the French Canadians to be pompous asses along with Catholic so tend to avoid them. The cancer of Quebec spreads far and wide with their packaging nonsense, if I could change one thing that would be it, bilingualism stays in Quebec. I guess the other problem is mandatory bilingualism for many federal jobs which is why our federal government gets so corrupt, so many frogs slide in.
殺鬼子白
>bilingualism stays in Quebec
why not let Quebec become its own country
Because they don't want to.
Not any government position.
t. mommy is correctional officer and cant speak french
this 2bh Montreal is a shithole and there's better skiing in bc, why the fuck would I ever be in Quebec.
Quebec is kept afloat from Alberta/Ontario tax money, the province is on welfare, not to mention the nigger problem.
Wtf, seriously no north-eastern Franco-Ontarians here?
This region of Canada is the definition of bilingualism. Out in the north-eastern parts of Ontario, many towns are french, people will assume you speak french primarily and will only resort to English if you absolutely don't understand. Although, unlike Quebec, all french schools in Ontario force students to take English courses every year from grade 4 until their graduation and so most people aged anything below 65 will speak English just like any native born Anglo, barring certain exceptions of course.
However, French in those parts of Canada is on the decline. For all those wondering why Quebec has so many staunch language laws, Eastern Ontario is the embodiment of their reasoning. Many people, mostly millennials, are abandoning their French under the constant presence of the eternal anglo. Fuck the "oppression" of black culture, take a look at Franco-Ontarian culture.
Nope, just the stuck up elitists.
>Eastern Ontario is the embodiment of their reasoning
GTFO. Quebecois people have been protective of their language for the past 200 years
And Montreal is the most bilingual place in Canada for obvious reasons
Only in Montréal are people around 80%~60% bilingual. Rest of Québec is almost entirely French. Rest of Canada is almost entirely Anglish (and chinese in BC).
Also, Vive le Québec libre, tabarnak.
depends where youre at
>GTFO. Quebecois people have been protective of their language for the past 200 years
Of course they have, the eternal anglo has been challenging French Canadian Culture for as long as it has been a thing. Although, as it seems to have gone over your head, Quebec has actively protected itself against anglo pressure for, as you said, a very long time unlike Eastern Ontario. What you seem to have failed to understand is that Eastern Ontario is the perfect example of anglo pressure succeeding in destroying the present francophone culture.
>What is Regulation 17
The destruction of Franco-Ontarian culture isn't new, it has taken literally over one hundred years to undermine it. Quebec has thankfully protected itself for just as long.
