This is all true. However, this doesn't dispute more Ukrainians and Russians living in Nazi occupied Ukraine rebelling against the new order than for. I'll search some more for my own sources on this, as it's coming from memory for the most part, but the anti-Nazi guerilla partisans were a big factor both before and after Stalingrad. In fact, the invasion of German troops was a signal of instability, at least for the nationalist Ukrainian partisans, and so these people who were being suppressed by the Soviets and disillusioned by German Nazi authoritarianism of the same caliber took a chance and ended up paying dearly for it.
