Has any other show ever been filled with as many profound quotes as R&M? Every episode has at least one epic quote.

>"Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. We're all going to die"
>"what people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed"
>"Am I evil?" "Worse you're smart"
>"traditions are an idiot thing"
>"weddings are basically funerals with cake"
>"there is no God"

What episode is the third to last one from? I don't remember that.

I'M

>profound
>nihilists actually believe this

scientifically traditions are an idiot thing

is the full quote. some episode where jerry wanted to do a science fair project with morty

these are better in context.

these threads are getting old and I have only been here 10 minutes

Not really.

...

The first one isn't bad advice. The full line being
>Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody's going to die, come watch TV?
Which was delivered with the intention of de-stressing the listener. You could replace the last line about television with anything else and not change much, the writers of that line obviously have some stake in you watching tv specifically.

You're looking behind the curtain, lad.

The only one of those lines I really found ill-fitting (aside from the traditions one) was
>"Am I evil?" "Worse you're smart"

I guess the only way to defend that one is if he was just talking about himself and projecting on to Beth, because the show has made it very clear that is his own personal philosophy, and some of the rest of his explanation doesn't fit his daughter that well (she doesn't have ultimate power over the universe like her father does). By itself it isn't really much of an answer to her question compared to something more generic that is still something he would say like "sure you are, but everybody's a little evil" or "morality's just something people made up".

Saying morality is made up by people, would conflict with Rick's usual nihilism routine, since it a Nietzschean idea and Nietzsche hated nihilists.

They should do a Wild Hogs parody episode.

>poopy ass fart shitty butt *BURRRRRRRRP*
ah, yes, truly a kafkaesque masterpiece

why is this show so obsessed with scat?

The first one is a lazy bastardization of a Sartre quite.

Why are you edgy faggots ruining R&M

I feel sad for you, if you genuinely beliefe those are profound.

someone post the rick and morty copypasta
