It Hurts!!

hey its whatserhername ...steven?

hey pasq is actually sorta getting better

Huh, nothing happened.
I was sure that Tubsy would leave his post to get a hotdog, let everyone make a break for it, and then just day oops.

>Pasqualo thinks Stephanie is cute

I thought that the hot dog shop would always be two days away from opening

I wish I had a bro

This feels like an end. Is this the end? I haven't been following along for months.

>Broner

Now I remember GAR

I once did.
Being betrayed by a bro is something you don't recover from.

>80 hot dog record
weak sauce... I thought Tubsy was the God of Fat, not a fucking pussy

If you're betrayed by a bro, were they ever a bro?

he's probably the god of fucking pussy, too.

How much of aurora is dependent on pasqualo's emotions?
How much of it is her own feelings?

how long is she gonna stay dead?

...

>Christie is back

Did the guy who made this ever decide on a punchline?

I just went with the berserker one, that seemed to be more popular.

...

I liked the mixtape one better, it made me laugh and sounded like a line that would be in the actual comic.

I don't know what "berserker" means, I'm guessing it's a reference to Berserk but I haven't read that manga so it doesn't make sense to me.

>murdered my mom with my asshole
I'll still never get over the fact he sharted his mom to death

Dude, Clerks

he is she

I don't watch a lot of movies, so most movie references go straight over my head. Even if I did watch more movies, not everybody is going to have seen every piece of media and get every reference.

This is why referential comedy should generally be avoided. It relies on your audience to have seen the thing you're referencing, and even then, you're just repeating a line or joke that somebody else wrote. Even if I had seen Clerks, I don't really think that reusing a line from the movie outside its original context would make me laugh.

"That's the power of my mixtape" is a funny, original line that anyone could find amusing, and it fits the tone and style of the comic the characters are from.

It Hurts!! contains referential humor to things like Sailor Moon and MLP, but those are used to clue the audience in to what type of character Pasqualo is, and counts on the fact that people reading this comic are going to be at least tangentially aware of anime and cartoon fandom culture. and the type of people that inhabit that culture..

If Pasqualo just walked around spouting lines from MLP and Sailor Moon that'd be fucking dumb.

I remember Gob saying we were closer to the end than we were the beginning.
But we still have to see what's Jen and Satan up too. I imagine something involving Tubsy and breaking into Heaven or something.

Wouldn't it be great to date a hot female version of yourself?

Aurora is too cute, how was this allowed

Is it weird that my hype is gone for this comic? I don't hate it, I still like it, and I feel like I could even say that I love the comic if someone asked me, but right now I'm just on this ride to see how it ends. It became one more of those comics I "schedule" to check when updated.

Doesn't help my hype levels that the fandom is just people bumbling over each other as if going "look at me, Gob. I have the same wacky humor as you and your comic". Present company excluded, of course.

pls more monobrow qt

WHY IS HELL SUCH AN UPLIFTING PLACE THAT HELPS YOU FIND YOURSELF?

Also is suicide blondie part of the harem now?

...

dude i get where you're coming from and honestly it's a solid argument but do yourself a favor and watch Clerks

>inb4 the comic ending with pasqaulo realizing that he doesn't need to find aurora and becomes Satan after murdering the old one

Will do, friendo. Sorry for sperging out over a dumb comic joke,

He just happened to eat 80 hot dogs in one day, he wasn't trying for a record

I had a bro once, but then he fucking killed himself. he was my only friend, and now I have none.

So who all has been added to the Hell Harem? Christy, Kim and the vampire?

What's the actual power levels in It Hurts!!? Pre-hell, obviously, though I suppose Tubsy still counts.

The space rhino's completely fucked me up.
Is it something like
Rhinos > Tubsy > Hell Demon > Pasq > Trisssh?

People can change over time.

Does anyone else feel like this is kind of lame? He was building up this thing with Pasq experiencing his own personal hell and everything and I figured it would be resolved with him confronting Satan or something, but instead it's kind of petered out. It feels like yet another time he's built something up without it going anywhere, like

I kind of like it. It feels right that Pasq begins to grow now that he's been knocked down from his position as an immortal cyborg and cast into literal Hell.
