Yeah Blue Planet remains my favorite of the Attenborough documentaries. Hopefully this will live up to expectations (and also that it doesn't become too "story" based)

all the sound effects in every bbc nature documentary are artificial, and always have been.
it's all done in foley.
it impossible to record useable audio in the field. you can't exactly stick a lapel mic on the animal.
