This was good, great even, but I really think they should have cut out the last minute and simply concluded with asian girl and mute bro leaving the hospital and showing the countryside to reinforce the small-town weirdness of the whole experience. The scene in the void with his wife after he fucking hacked her up with an axe in the basement just felt on-the-nose.
