He was a symbol of the undying spirit of England, right? That's what I got from it anyway

must be focused and relaxed. he isn't hot head. his plan matters.

Dunkirk is one of the better films that WB released this year. Is it too soon to mention OSCAR?

How are the dogfights? I love planes and spaceships and shit blowing each other up.

Hes on me.

I'm on him.

big if true

>the undying spirit of England

A rentboi for mudslimes?

Why is Nolan obsessed with few actors and casts them in every movie he makes? McMurphy, Hardy.

He's like a faggot he wants to suck their fucking dick or something?

When he pulled his mask off did he die?

Nootka

He was a gentleman of great stature

What? No, Nolan is very much heterosexual, also, the greatest director alive, beautiful and moral.

he likes working with Hardy, coz he is great 'eye' actor. In movie, he spends most time behind air mask, all we see are eyes.

Cos the actors he works with consitantly are all very skilled, and if you can just call up someone like Michael Caine and say "yo papi making a new film, want in?" and get a yes each time, why wouldn't you?

Also a birlliant actor without having to use any dialogue. Warrior made me cry like a bitch on my first watch.

you're too much focused on the technicalities to be actually scared, comes with training

Most directors have a handful of actors they like to cast in all their movies. It makes sense, if you've worked well with someone before you'd probably want to work with them again.

Does that mean Nolan didn't like working with Bale and DiCaprio?

hmm.

Best sound editing
Best sound

They might have just had other commitments. He worked with Bale in 4 of his films, so I doubt they don't like each other.

I shouldn't admit it but I honestly teared up at the end of the Warrior. That fucking brotherly love shit gets me so fucking badly. Even though my own brother is the biggest dickhead I know.

shitty meme movie stop talking about it already

>Today...
>You were far away...
>And I....
>...Didn't ask you why.

Because he's a trained fighter pilot.

They don't act like Tom Cruise in Top Gun.

he seemed way more chill than the others

this.

>I feel the need... need for speed!
VS
>Keep informing me, I lost my fuel gauge.

Very historically accurate. If you're looking for spaceship action, you'll be disappointed.

>pilot named Ice Man
>he's cool under fire
>that's literally how all pilots are supposed to be

>he was more chill than others

Exactly. He had more skills and experience.

for you

...

>I'm sorry Tommy, I'm sorry
Fuck. Frank Grillo was surprisingly good too. Pushing away all the reporters and shit, letting the brothers finally have a moment. Man, I love that fucking movie, I don't care what anyone says.

because he was just riding a prop, not a real plane.

Did you know, user, that the reason people in the 40s and 50s were so excited about jet planes was not just that they were so much faster, but because they were much, much easier to fly?

Watch some of the old warbird training films on youtube sometimes. About 4/5's of a pilot's job was paying attention to the engine and radiator and oil pump and shit, and then he had to fly and fight on top of that.

ye pushing prop planes too much was risky. jets had way easier controlls and less shits to care about.

why not bring back guy pierce then, he did great in memento and doesn't get enough roles these days afaik (i liked him in prometheus and covenant)

flash my name flash by nature

Yeah, no one cared about hardy that much untill he started putting on the masks

With jets basically the one thing you had to control was the throttle.
