not this shit again. This game has already been called out more times than I can count on how it essentially bullshits you in order to make this sort of situation more desperate.

It assumes all kind of shit for your backstory without giving you any chance to choose it yourself (iirc there was shit like you already having a kid, or having an existing credit card balance). It makes you do stupid shit like injuring yourself lifting 50lb boxes which doesn't happen unless you deliberately lift incorrectly or are made of fucking paper mache. You also have the luck of a black cat living in a house built out of broken mirrors.

also i worked minimum wage jobs for years (recent years) and i've never had a three strike policy affect you when you're taking care of your kid.
