almost lovecraftian

Borg cube, my dude.

>math homework
>evil
Yeah ok

very lovecraftian

Why do you hate freedom you statist scum. Pic related is more evil with its order cuckoldry.

...

this meme is back?

...

>shadows
>evil

...

babylon 5 is trash.

They did fuck a lot of people's shit up for no real good reason.

no u

>Show me a more evil spaceship.

looks like Hatak

...

And yet shadows were the good guys

since when?

Since the beginning. Every war in the last 100 years progressed our society.

vorlons thought differently

they were both cunts desu

The Vorlons just didn't want to be alone.

...

agree

Is your spaceship sentient? No? Well check and mate, bitch.

>Is your spaceship sentient?
AKCHUALLY

yes, they are.

WHAT AN IDIOT!

>spaceship
>will never reach its destination
Earth is more like a bunch of planks we hold on to because if we don't we'd drown.

>bunch of planks
What? It's better than any spaceship we could create ourselves, as far as life support and structure is concerned. It may not be steerable, but it is still travelling across the universe at high velocity.

Retarded youngfag.

...

I WIN.

Fucking kill yourself, friend.

Oh young fool.

...

Lexx is fucking great.

Vorlons believed meditation and waiting works. Idiots!

Literal embodiment of lawful evil

...

>i want a ship that looks like a bu..
>say no more

it's the embodiment of industrial designs

i thought the mountain was supposed to be big

>bu..

bu..allsack?

small hands big plane

Lynchian design

I bet you thought mass effect was original.

Good answer. They're conceptually terrifying.

kino

Fuck I love that design.

Intimidating and creepy, and I'd love to see what they could look like with today's CG.

> Sad Face Ship

it wouldnt be any better as they very made so dark to hide deficiencies of CGI

I do wonder what that man said in his sleep.
>mnrh... non-euclidean... rnrh.. niggers..

...

i read the file name as "voltron vsshadow"... voltron never came ;__;

...

where do you think mass effect stole 40% of its content from

I love this whole scene. I love it. I love every single second of this whole scene.

The part where they get fired on again, and then all you hear is

>"This is the Earth Alliance Destroyer Agamemnon to unidentified vessel!"

I got fucking CHILLS.

Good stuff.

Imagine how good this could have looked if they actually had a budget.

At least we'll always have a couple scenes in that dtv movie.

it actually literally is

That whole part actually pissed me off.

>First-sempai, notice me!

how do you manage to sneak up on a race called The Shadows? Shouldn´t stealth and surprise attacks be their expertise with a name like that

the aliens themselves also looked pretty creepy

Hyperspace is tricky.

babylon 5 is literally the most lovecraftian tv show

This never made much sense. The Centauri MIGHT be able to overpower Earth, but not the IA, which would surely get involved.

Spikes Of Villainy, The Ship. Even its torpedoes were spikey.

>"how are the audience members going to know they're evil?"
>"just add some spikes to it"

Maybe Earth had withdrawn from the Alliance at the time.

the ship from event horizon.
the event horizon.

>"how are the audience members going to know they're evil?"
>"just add some spikes to it"
>"like this?"
>"no, like 100 times more spikes than that"

Worked for Sauron

And wasn't that thing just supposed to be a mining vessel? Top kek.

The most evil miner ever!

Its shaped like an upside down crucifix (for anyone that didn't get that)

>upside down crucifix
Which isn't actually blasphemous or demonic, it's used to show penitence

Well done user, you win your own thread.
B5 = GOAT. Haters kys

This. The makers even admitted that B5 was a great influence in the story of Mass Effect.

The Centauri had a huge fleet in mothballs from their golden age, still technologically greater than most of the younger races.

They started to haul it out during their wars of expansion in the Shadow War era. If they pulled it all out and went for earth, they probably could utterly wreck the Earth Alliance before the ISA could stop them.

Source?

And even with their golden age forces the ISA would crush them, because the Minbari and Rangers were parts of the ISA.

Can we ever again get anything Trek without a BIG EVIL SHIP and villain with MUH REVENGE

Season 4 touches on it, and some of the novels and rpg books (approved by JMS) expand on it.

The Minbari would obviously be the greatest threat to them, but given the distances involved they probably couldn't stop a blitz on earth. The Rangers are good for policing but they aren't really a great fleet force. Most of their ships are smaller and made for skirmishing and missions, and we've seen the Centauri take them apart.

We've seen the Minbari be war weary, we've seen how politics and morale issues can divide or impede them. A dedicated Republic could probably take advantage of this to survive a war.

Well, Beyond didn't have a Big Evil Ship. Though it did have a revenge motivated villain.

These things right here. It was hilarious how fast everyone ran when they appeared.

Multiple tiny ships acted as a Big Evil Cloud

I don't believe for a minute Earth would lose to centauri. If they didn't try during shadow war, I don't see them trying later when we have more time to advance.

These were rolling out right after the war and you saw how we built ships.

Bring on Centauri brah.

Wasn't Warlock using Shadow Tech? My memory is a bit hazy but I remember some sort of story about Ivanova, headaches and a revelation of that sorts.

well the reasoning was since it was from so far in the future even the basic mining vessel outclasses anything from the past. I guess

It had some bit of Shadow tech, but I don't think it was ever explained what it did. I wonder if they destroyed the blueprints for the Advanced Omega class destroyers that were covered in Shadow shit.

Those were Omega destroyers.

They were shadow skinned, with old human destroyer frame with upgraded reactors.

Reaver ships win.
>Ships rotting away, cobbled together from various wrecks
>Literally a flying bomb
>Decorated in blood and carcasses of victims

No, I'm talking about Walrocks.

Found the bit about the Ivanova, Warlock and Shadow Tech:
babylon5.wikia.com/wiki/EAS_Titans

Apparently it was a short story in the B5 Magazine.

Control systems. Must be a psycore plot.

>psycore
it's Psi-Corps user, and it doesn't have to specifically be a member, just a fairly powerful telepath

...

Can your space craft kill an entire universe?
