Just watched Hell House. A few parts were pretty spooky.
Gracefield Incident was unwatchable. Skipped to the end and payoff was gaaayyy lmao
Robert Garcia
Cloverfield was comfy and I don't care how much people dislike it
Jose Clark
>Gracefield Incident was unwatchable.
yeah that was really bad. fucking french canucks can't make a decent film.
Zachary Walker
Watched pic related on Amazon and was pleasantly surprised. Would make a good movie to watch in October
Lincoln Butler

I pirated Hell House many months ago. It was better than expected, but wasn't nearly as good as something like The Borderlands.
Nicholas Perez
Any of you guys seen Afflicted? It's a found footage vampire movie, pretty decent
I've actually yet to see hell house, ill have to give it a shot
Robert Cox
My favorite of all time would probably be Grave Encounters. Some others come to mind though. None coming up that I'm really looking forward to. Was thinking about trying lake Mungo again. Started it once but was so boring.
Wyatt Anderson
Watch Lake Mungo at 2 AM in the basement alone with the lights off.
Xavier Lee
Im trying to find a found footage flick i saw awhile back. released in the mid 2000a I believe, It was about a family or friends flying out to this two story house in the rural north when it was very snowy.
Right when they get off the plane the found footage is shit the killer is recording of them as he drives behind them and generally stalks them from outside
Throughout it he turns their power off and goes into their house to film them while sleeping. Afterwards he leaves the tape at their door the next day.
anyone have an idea, I cant find it for shit
Joshua Roberts
Loved the lo-fi McPherson tape.
Anything that feels less produced/more lo-fi?
Tyler Ramirez
Frankenstein's Army is my personal favorite found footage film, but Grave Encounters is pretty good too.
Recently watch, the dark tapes. Found it disappointing. Same with V/H/S
Adrian Murphy
ahh yeah thats it thanks fampai have a mummy qt for your troubles
Leo Jones
The Dark Tapes was the biggest fucking letdown of the year for me. The first tape with the haunted house was good but then it went to shit.
Eli Richardson
this
Daniel Green
Correct
Justin Reed
I thought the Phoenix incident was pretty good. Same thing with burglar? I think it was called. It's on Amazon prime and it's a guy who thinks house getting broken into. Great payoff.
Joshua Walker
You mean The Break In?
Kevin Morris
Yup that's the one
David Johnson
>Same with V/H/S
Amateur Night alone was worth watching VHS
Levi Gutierrez
shouldnt yoy be making your cthulhu thread or did you get tired of everyone shitting on you?
>muh found garbage
ok then. pleb on....
Gavin Hill
I realize that my opinion is an unpopular one.
Josiah Reed
>t. capeshit manchild
Carter Cruz
You have the wrong guy. I don't know shit about Cthulhu.
Hunter Robinson
>Cloverfield was comfy and I don't care how much people dislike it
I agree with this. Full comfy and very rewatchable.
Carson Hall
Cannibal Holocaust is pure kino
Asher Roberts
I know everybody hates it for the acting outside of the killer, but Poughkeepsie tapes I found unsettling in parts, the sacrament, Rec, Lake mungo, afflicted and cannibal holocaust stand out for me most. The vhs films are one of the few anthologies where I liked every segment, especially the bit with the cult. Banshee chapter and The conspiracy are guilty pleasures, I have a weakness for conspiracy hokum.
I can't find English subs for The black door, the ritual scene in it caught my interest.
Hunter Bennett
The bay is also surprisingly creepy and the taking of Deborah Logan kind of actually makes you care about the characters.
David Sanchez
Also check out Occult if you liked Noroi, its by the same director as that film. Good, slowburn horror films.
