ALMOST HEAVEN...

what movies was it in? I haven't seen it used in any of the ones I've watched this year.

New alien

Logan Lucky and Kingsman

It is one of the best country songs ever made and manages to connect the listener to the whimsy, beauty, and simplicity of country life even if the listener has only lived in a city for their entire life.

>2017 movie
>West Virginia starts playing

country roads was the signal in alien, right? Didn't really notice it. Also didn't notice it at all in logan.

You're kinda stupid for watching lucky or kingsmen2

Lucky looks fucking great, what are you talking about?

“Logan Lucky” was fun too, which is what he was referring to.

Just like one of my Japanese animes!

Its a great feels-laden tune that was also popular enough to be associated strongly with its time. It does a lot of work for a film maker.

If I had to guess its probably demographic, its a song the parents of people reaching the right age to be directors and music directors (or whatever they are called) parents used to play.

Sometimes it seems to happen repeatedly because the licensing company has changed and everyone rushes in, I don't know if that has happened here.

makes my heart go doki doki every fucking time

This. Sweet Home Alabama also works if you want a more uptempo eyefeel.

they were murdered by satanists who control the music industry.

All the hipster faggots discovered their grandparents' record collection, and are inserting their nostalgia. I won't complain, though. I love John Denver. I can't wait until Gordon Lightfoot becomes a thing again; he's one of the best singer/songwriters of all time, and has a voice of gold.
