It makes sense that with all of his ambition, he'd basically be trying to dress for the job he wants. He wants to be one of the big boys so he gives himself a cape and a special shuttle and special troops and all that.

Like when attacking other fighters it has that traditional zapping noise, but in Rogue One it re-uses the louder pew-pew noise when shooting at stationary targets like turrets. Is there a reason for this?
