In 1992 Thom Yorke of the band Radiohead wrote a letter to Donald Trump for 15,000$ to help finance their first album as a joke. Also getting a demo of the new album in the same letter (presumably being a big fan of it) Mr Trump sent them the 15,000 dollars, not knowing that the band was joking. Trump was later reimbursed in 2000, although Yorke requested he donate it to a environmentalist organization.
